Good food which they build in front of you. I wish they had a slightly bigger menu. Otherwise it's a good place and it's never over packed so you can get served rather quick.

I live for the sweet pork barbacoa and green chile burrito!!

Their service is horrible and they take forever to make your food even if you order ahead of time and give them a 20min window to make it just in case they’re busy. They weren’t busy at all maybe 1 or 2 other patrons were in the restaurant when we went to pick up our food. My boyfriend waiting 30min inside waiting for our ONLINE order. The manager offered to credit us the total amount for our meal but haven’t seen a credit so we won’t bother with them anymore. Go to chipotle if you want something to similar to what they serve and better service and speedier.

Worst Customer Service experience in many months. Tried to order online, via the app, and finally calling the restaurant. They pretty much told me to just kiss off and call back later. Would not and could not take a simple order and or bother to call me back when they figured out their errors. Person on phone could have cared less

I ordered a chicken taco and it was the most tasteless taco I’ve ever had. My husband ordered tamales. We were hoping for a great southwestern meal, but it wasn’t. Not worth it!

The prices seemed high for a meal assembled Chipotle-style. And included no chips and salsa. My burrito tasted good, but my wife's nachos were embarrassing. The top had the beans and other toppings and was hot enough and tasted ok (good would be too generous), but under the top layer everything was dry and cold (or at least not hot). They misinformed us about what toppings were included, but to their credit, I don't think they charged us extra for the toppings we got, thinking they were included.

First time trying Cafe Rio. Great food! The steak tacos, rice and beans were delicious. Hubby ordered the cheese enchiladas with red sauce, it is now his new favorite spot for enchiladas.

We went in on Taco Tuesday. There were only two guys working the front line and the back Grill. Those 2 guys were flying and doing a great job. We beat the afternoon Rush. But it didn't matter. Those 2 gentlemen held that whole line. Faster than people could call out the orders.. . I've been eating here for approximately 4 years. The food is very consistent. I know what it tastes like before I order it. Thank you very much. I will be returning

Everything was DELICIOUS. best enchiladas and burritos. chips & salsa were the BEST. Ugh I wish I could have it everyday but I’m in NC. We ordered through UberEats and it was perfect.

Cafe Rio has been one of our favorite restaurants in Flagstaff. During the early days of the pandemic they wore masks on the open, buffet style prep line. Now they don't. Didn't bother us before, but now the thought of the servers speaking over the fixings just feels gross. When that changes, we'll be back. Many other Flagstaff restaurants' servers are still wearing masks.
