Happened upon this restaurant by accident and WOW was it fantastic! The drinks and food were generous and tasted amazing. With a quiet, low key environment, this place is impossible to beat. Oh yes, and I have to mention that the staff was earnest, attentive and right there with whatever we needed. I cannot recommend this place more. We will be back again and again!
This place was just... weird. Seemed unprofessional and gave my group a weird vibe. One the workers kept pacing around our table and was like watching us. Place didn't seem clean and the tacos were okay. The rice and beans were decent, but I don't think anything was worth what we paid because the guy made us feel so uncomfortable.Edit: calling it discrimination when the dude was walking around our table the whole time? I had a problem with how uncomfortable it is to pace around in someones personal space when they're trying to eat. These replies to all these reviews like this are a good show to how wack this place is.
food was excellent. home made salsas. watch as they freshly ground their dry spices. definitely fresh authentic Mexican food
I wanted to give this place 1 star. We went on Cinco De Mayo so I sort of expected it to be busy. They were and they also were way understaffed. Now this could have been for several reasons, but waiting for an hour to take our food order was unacceptable. The food was decent, Margaritas were worst I've had. The mix they used was so tart, could taste no Tequila, it was like eating 6 lemons. I have to fault management for our experience.
Best Mexican food in town! Ever since moving here 4 years ago I've been missing a place with authentic Mexican cuisine. We had the Michelada, Watermelon Margarita, the Birra taco platter and more! Their Verde Salsa was an absolute stand out among any other salsa I've had in town. Everything had so much flavor and their flour tortillas were home made!! Wish I would have snagged some pics but everything smelled and tasted so good that we didn't make time for any pictures. Will be coming back!
What a treat! Best authentic Mexican food I have had in my 7 years in Flagstaff. The michelada was the best I’ve ever had in my life and the watermelon margarita was delicious and so refreshing. Will literally be dreaming about them. Carnitas were great with fresh tortillas and my husbands birria tacos were tasty too! Topped it all off with flan and fruity pebble fried ice cream! Service was attentive and friendly so don’t let the negative reviews here fool you. My only regret is not finding Alejandro’s sooner!
This place is great. We've been wanting to try it for a year or more and we never made it in. We will definitely make it a point to come back. You can tell it's a family run restaurant with home style Mexican food. The Carne asada was great. The birra taco were excellent. The margaritas were perfect. Got the churro dessert with icecream. OMG!!
I would give this business zero stars, if possible. Ten minutes after ordering our beverages, 6 of the 7 of us were served (the 7th member never did get his beverage), then the wait began. Thirty minutes later, we waved to the waiter who was standing behind the bar with ear pods in trying to get his attention so that he'd take our orders. After waiting fifteen more minutes (still no waiter), we paid for our drinks and walked out. Horrific service!
Great food. Great margaritas. excellent service. 5 out of 5. fresh food. not pre made crap that you normally find in most Flagstaff Mexican restaurants.
We will definitely come back! Loved the food (sooooo flavorful!), and the staff were sweethearts. A new favorite in downtown :)
