Cute place. Good drinks. Great service. Food was just okay, very bland.

Great food and service!! Live music some nights! Please open Saturday am for college football!!

First and foremost, this review is not intended to bash this establishment. I would like to start with the positives. The decor of this location is nice, the live music was enjoyable, and the location was easy to find.As a former owner of three fine dining restaurant in the SF Bay Area, this is a message to the owner. Good surviving restaurants are made of two elements: good quality food and good service. Before opening hour, my goal as a former owner was to set clear expectations with all my employees. My head chef went over the menu with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure they were aware of items that were available, and items that were not available that day. In addition, a servers number one priority is a table. Water is to be received within the first 2 minutes of the party being seated along a lot arm greeting extending a menu for drinks. Any specialty drinks to be presented at this time or announcing head server by the bidder serving the water. We arrived and we were served water, our table was a bit wobbly, so we asked to be moved. The busser was super kind and attentive. We moved to another comfortable booth by the corner. Our server name was Gabriella P. She appeared to be friendly, and attentive. We first proceeded to place our drink order. She recommended the cucumber martini which was fantastic. She returned with our drinks shortly after, and suggested a few appetizers. We ordered the fried Raviolis. They were okay, but we won’t review on that as my husband is originally from St. Louis, so fried raviolis are pretty different. She came back about 15 min to ask for our entree order. We waited for about 57 minutes, then Gabrielle our waitress, returned to let us know she didn’t have short rib for the tacos. Almost an hour from the time we placed the order.Waiting for an hour to get a status of your food is unacceptable. Kitchen staff, serving staff and management staff should know from the moment of opening the door what’s available and not available from a menu.My husband got his rib eye exactly an hour and 12 minutes later. The manager came apologizing that he bought us the first round as a kind gesture. This was our first and last experience at this place. The cut of meat for the rib eye was not the best. Ryan from the staff came with the food and tried to remedy the huge mistake by having small stalk and apologizing. We will not come back, and will not recommend St Amand kitchen to anyone. There is no excuse for such an unacceptable service. We decided to leave a tip of of being courteous, but nobody at that restaurant takes pride of the restaurant industry or service at all.Management save your response trying to apologize for such an oversight.Owner: train your management better, after all this is a reflection of management and lack of training. Hold meetings daily, and supervise your own restaurant more often. You will be next closing this location just as many ones in the past that were here. Before you bankrupt, pay more attention to your business. Reviews like this make you or break you.

Great atmosphere and food was delicious

chicken wings are awesome!!! Love the Happy Hour prices! Staff is so friendly - really enjoy our Sundays at St Amand's and the occasional Thursday night dinners. Waiting for the old breakfast potatoes to come back!

Absolutely disgraceful. Please note my extended review on yelp and Google. It took an hour for the server to report that they did not have an item in the menu. Lots of oversights at this restaurant and quality was lacking. Go somewhere else

Moved seating from inside. Too loud to have a conversation with friends. Disappointed there was no music.

We left before water was even brought to the table. We were sat at a small, uncomfortable high-top in the middle of a busy hall/walkway where we were bumped into. We we're told we could sit there or outside in the heat. It also took quite a bit of time for the waitress to come get our drink order. We left rather than continue the bad experience.

There is a fine line between not enough service and to much service. Our waitress went over the line. Other than that the dinner was great. Craig

I don’t even know where to begin. The being squished in between 2 other tables w/ all of us sharing seating, which the 2 top table we were sat @ was right on a crack of where the two booths met together so it was really uncomfortable & we couldn’t even hear each other talk because everyone was on top of each other so if your expecting to hold a conversation @ all or even have a little bit of privacy, don’t. We waited over 10 minutes for our drinks only to have one of them be wrong & have to be sent back. The server said the bartender was really behind & was struggling to keep up. Then my fiancée complained that the bartender made the same drink 2 different ways, w/ neither of them tasting good. After waiting for quite sometime 4 our food, another server brought out only one dish & then asked if we needed anything else. We were like, yes, our other plate of food. She laughed & said, oh, I thought something wasn’t right. Our server then ran to the back & brought out the other dish. Both of our dishes were not good. We have been here before it was shut down & loved the food. Idk what they changed but, it wasn’t for the better. I felt bad for our server too because she had at least 7 tables that I had seen her running to & yet tried to maintain a good attitude. If it wasn’t for her I’d give 1 star. We most definitely will not be back. So disappointing from beginning to end.
