Good ice overall, but the mango was a bit unripe which dampened the experience. Would be nice for them to switch it out for another ripe fruit. Good service and clean dining area with plenty of tables. Got really busy around 8 pm.
With locations in Chandler, Mesa and Ahwatukee, Snowtime is a dessert cafe that serves magical memories in a bowl, a plate, and a fish (more on that later). I recently came here and had Bingso (Korean shaved ice) for the first time, and it was magnificent. Essentially, just a bowl of shaved ice (shaved to the consistency of soft snow) with toppings, every spoon, every bite reminded me of my childhood playing in the snow and eating snow for the first time. Really, who doesn't like snow? Just say the word and a smile comes to your face. When I think of snow, I personally think of winter wonderlands, snowball fights, and sliding down hillsides. Shouldn't food be that fun? With fun names that will tickle your brain and wet your appetite like Golden Dust, Tira-Miss-You, and Espres-Snow, my personal favorite Bingso dishes are Matcha-Love and Sweet Sunset. Their toppings here are fresh, and their ingredients are high end.At Snowtime they call their Bingsu "Snow". Either way, you can say Snow, Bingso, or shaved ice they will know what you mean. Snowtime also serves drinks too like Espressos, Fresh Leaf Teas, Specialty Drinks, and Milk Teas. In addition, they offer Soft Serve which you can get in a cup or a cool looking crunchy fish cone. Finally, remember to add the word Bingso to your everyday foodie vernacular. It will be a life long obsession during hot summer days when water is just too boring and ice cream and froyo too mundane (just joking, I love ice cream and froyo too). Check out Snowtime at their three locations!
Although this place is better known for their sweet desserts, I'd like to point out that they also serve a high quality espresso with consistency. I wanted to wait and review them until I had triple-checked their consistency and I am pleasantly surprised. Now counting my third visit, I have drank the double espresso, twice hot and once over ice. There is an appreciated level of consistency in their flavor which I admire as a coffee enthusiast. It's got toasty, caramel butter notes, leaning on ashen bark, but not too heavily. (hint: your taste buds will have their back blown out if you have the espresso served affogato-style over their ice cream)My friends always have the Nutella-filled fried waffle fish and the custard filled mini fishes, which they rave about! Can't go wrong there!Would highly recommend as a sweet tooth type of place, or as stated earlier, a hidden coffee shop.
This was so yummy we got fish cones and ice cream and a snow bowl, the taro ice cream was my favorite. Kinda expensive for a group but honestly it was worth it! Definitely would come again.
Banana split would have been incredible had they gave me more than a teaspoon full of ice cream. All the other ingredients were there a touch more ice cream would have been 5 stars. If i choose to break my diet I'd definitely go back though.
If you need Bingsu. This place is fast and clean. Cashier was very helpful. We had mango and strawberry Bingsu. Also a few fish cones. My kids loved it.
Loved it !!! Thank you for an amazing experience
Snow sunset one is the best ice desert. I tried other two too which were also good, but.... I recommend snow sunset!
Super delicious food and drinks. They're a little bit pricey but the quality is well worth it. The matcha ice cream is amazing as are the macarons.Usually the staff is super nice, but tonight the person taking our order was super pushy in trying to get us out asking after each item we ordered (4 total) "is that all tonight" vs letting us just finish talkingI'm still going to return but maybe avoid the closing crew
What a yummy treat! The servings are huge. The snow is so fine and yummy toppings were plentiful. The staff was super friendly and it was clean. Lots of options.
