Cooks need be to get their business together, I've continually received the wrong order from this location all I want is no bean and no guac on their "burrito especial" and a side of sour cream every time those lazy cooks give me the regular "especial" and I'm sick of it every dang time. Nothing wrong with he the hostess she has always rung it up correctly on the receipt but Jesus it's not that hard I'm not asking a Mexican restaurant to make me a fettuccine alfredo, they can do so much better especially on a slow day.
Manager at this location was extremely rude. I have been coming to Rubio’s for years, but this was a visit that made me want to never return. When I asked a question about a coupon, she told me to just leave and said she could refuse me service- it was crazy. I will certainly never return to this location, and since will go out of my way to a different location or not at all.
This place certainly needs real management here. The staff is very uneducated and not very glad to accept orders. They are very disconnected from the customers who want to feel friendliness when ordering.The food is great in taste and quality, that’s why 2 stars.
I tried using a coupon code that was sent to me after taking an online survey for another Rubio’s restaurant. The cashier here said she would not accept it without a receipt (even though it was an online survey, sent to me on the Rubio’s app) and looked at me like I was trying to commit fraud or something. I did not want to argue about a free dessert so I just left. I really enjoy Rubio’s but won’t be returning to this location ever again. There is always an issue of some sort here.
Ordered two fish tacos, waited half an hour while people behind me got their food. Finally went to the counter and cashier asked cook about the food. I waited 15 more mins and still no food. Waited in line again for a refund. Lady tried to give me a coupon or something and I said forget it. I get times are hard but horrible services. Hopefully my refund goes through ?
I waited for 15 minutes. No sign of the cashier. I’m glad I didn’t eat here now after reading the reviews.
Everything is dirty, my coworkers all got food poisoning here. All the good employees quit and it's taking months for new people to be trained well enough to get a burrito out that doesn't take 30 minutes. All the female cashiers have attitudes and zero food and health safety precautions. I didn't eat here for 6 months because it was so bad so I gave it another shot and it is worse than it has ever been.
Stood in line for like 20 minutes while 6 employees slowly worked and failed to acknowledge anyone in their growing line. While waiting to order at least 2 customers came up due to their order being incorrect. We ended up leaving and not ordering which is a shame because I was really craving the shrimp tacos. Also should mention the “cooks” in the back continuously touched their masks and hats/hair with gloved hands ?
Front counter person ignored customers waiting to order. Very slow service. Food came out cold. Counter condiments were non existent. Poor quality overall.
I should've read the last three reviews and fallowed suit. Had the worst experience with one of the cashiers clerks there I believe her name was Giselle broad girl with white polo Rubio's tshirt and white visor and heavy make up on her face. I had ordered my burrito and had to wait extra longer cause she was busy on her phone and interacting with her fellow coworkers and not doing her job. I waited extra 15 minutes just staring at my burrito on the counter waiting there for my fish burrito to be sacked and given to me. I gave a well concerned look at the cook with glasses on yet he acted like he was puzzled and didn't know what was going on but clearly he knew what was happening. I was like when are they going to give my burrito since it was already placed on the counter 15 minutes ago. But yet he ignored the situation and let the cashier clerk wonder and not do her job. Plus I was given a an expired diet coke the was expired 10-18-21. This place needs to pick it up lately it's been falling apart. I don't even know if it worth my time to give them another chance with workers like that. Chandler Mall Location!
