2nd bad experience here, thought i'd give them the benefit of the doubt the first time. 20+ minute wait past the promised time on an online app order, wasn't even acknowledged by the staff while I was waiting. Had people waiting 5+ minutes at the front of the line to place an order without even being looked at. Portion size has gone WAY down, with a half empty bowl. Tacos were soggy but food was still above average in taste, which is the 2nd star. I'd go elsewhere is possible, i'm between this rubios and another location so maybe i'll give the other a try
I was hit with an oppressive sewage smell upon walking in. I hoped it was just by the door but it permeated through most of the restaurant; a fact I didn't realize until after placing my order. Still, I was hoping it was simply a sewer problem that unfortunately was hitting them. The food was cold and just ok, disappointing in fact. maybe 10 minutes after leaving I started having serious stomach pains. Hours later I still have residual pains
Not a fan of most of the choices here could definitely use a menu makeover. Other than that my double shrimp burrito was freaking delicious. The service is amazing. KiKi (I think her name is), is always kind and helpful. Her and the line cooks joyfully do their job right everytime I'm there.
Sometimes this location can be really slow and other times it's normal. Even though it is hit or miss on that, the staff is really nice. They do a good job on food prep and the food comes out tasty.
Shrimp burrito is my go-to. Never disappointed. Side beans good too. If it wasn't so costly, I'd eat there weekly.
This Rubio's location is par for the course. I haven't been there in a while and got the classic fish tacos. They did not disappoint. Very flavorful. Staff was nice and the place was well maintained.
The fish tacos were good. The spicy salsa was not that tasty. Guacamole was delicious. Manager was very attentive.
Visited on March 1, 2022. My wife and I ordered three street taco plates with two medium drinks. $29+ (no receipt, machine not working.)Simply put, sad taco plates. No guac on mine. Bone dry otherwise. Very sparse onion/cilantro topping. Went up and asked about Pico de Gallo, since the salsa bar is taken down, told that Pico is $1.08 extra.I got a small cup of Chipotle salsa, just so I could put some taste on my tacos.I've been to Rubio's numerous times and this time was clearly the worst.I should also mention that we went in at 11:30'ish and there were only two customers in there. That should be a warning sign.
Love Rubios! The menu selection is unique, always delicious, and they are always happy to help with suggestions and changes. Sam is helpful and an asset to the store!
Decent. Food and chips are acceptable. Not as organized or friendly as in years past, but hey it's covid time and I am happy to find food on my lunch break.
