Awesome management. Happy to see these guys winning. Pita jungle has been a staple restaurant of mine for years, with fresh, tasty, and affordable food options.Very vegetarian friendly. Most of my experiences have been at the Dobson and ray location, but the new Gilbert is fantastic. Friendly manager, prompt service, and equally as amazing food. Great for casual or more fancy sit down options. Fast and easy order pickup too.

It was ok kind of food. Pita bread was too Dry. It was too overload so we cannot hold and eat properly. Chicken shawarma was not good...it looks like it was filled with marinated chicken instead Shawarma..Only thing good was Garlic Potato...

Starting with the poorly placed signage to find the restaurant, pulling into the parking lot revealed no Pita Jungle restaurant. After driving through the parking lot, we concluded there was no Pita Jungle. Then exiting on the complete opposite side and about to leave, we see the restaurant facing the street from the other side but no easy access. Finally parking in the back, hiking around debris and rocks to finally find the entrance in a corridor between two buildings. There were 3 tables already seated with their food when we were seated. 45 minutes later, we still had no food. I had the chicken shawarma - dry and flavorless. I have eaten Greek food for many years and this wasn’t very good. Overall, not an experience I care to repeat.

We stopped in for lunch and had a very pleasant experience at this location. I didn’t get the name of the very gracious and experienced waitress. She had glorious pink hair! Our food was perfect and came to the table very quickly. I will definitely be back and recommend this place!

Good friendly customer service even while super busy. I was in mad dash, so I enjoyed my gyro to go. (Perfect for a rushed dinner after work,) -my fault. I never wolfed anything down so fast! Coz it was fresh and yummy. ?I'll be back! Just had to 'get to the choppah now' that day! ???‍♂️

Wait times & parking are horrendous. Really...35 minutes for a call ahead pita once I've already arrived?? And this happens almost everytime. Food is good, but they have to get their stuff together.

Usually very great service, food, ect. Happy hour on Sat is 3 - 6p. I'm a regular, I come there at least once a week. I got there & sat at bar a couple mins before 6p & the bartender was busy. Took a few mins & when she came to serve me, I asked if I could still do HH items, she said she couldn't because she couldn't "ring anything in after 6pm". Pretty sure it's someone new (and it could be overridden bin the system). Honestly, that's bad business...if your customer is there before HH ends but you're busy as a bartender, that's not the customers fault

We had a delicious lunch at Pita Jungle. The service was impeccable and the smiles were contagious.

what happened to Pita Jungle??i have been eating here since the early 2000s. my favorite location was on Apache Bl in Tempe. that location has been closed for years and has been replaced by many throughout the valley. i have to say that all the new locations don’t taste the same. my favorite dish is the Lavosh Shawarma. this dish has changed in taste and quantity (less). my latest experience was last night at the gilbert location. i called in an order for take out, Lavosh Shawarma, no onions please. got home and found about half cooked onion in my wrap with hardly any chicken. ugh! i was so hungry i didn’t have the energy and time to go back. so i pulled the onions out and ate it. i only thought to take a picture of the dish after i pulled nearly half an onion out. it did not taste good. i was left dissatisfied. the salad was ok, but i was left hungry because there wasn’t much. also, what’s with the micro size salad dressing?? this dish was about $10. it is now $14 with less chicken, less salad, less dressing. i know adjustments have to be made for inflation but, come on! i’m not one to complain or write reviews, but this was a bad experience and hopefully they will up their game and listen to customer feedback.for the record, this is my first google review.

LOVE Pita Jungle! So glad they finally have a location over in this area! I’ve been driving out to the other locations for many years. Great Mediterranean food, takeout or sit down. Happy hour until 6 p.m. with super cheap tapas! Big outdoor area for seating. All the staff have been super friendly, helpful, and efficient. Try them out! Favorite items are the sangria, bbq chicken flatbread pizza, hummus, iced tea, and chicken shawarma wrap.
