Definitely the worst Biryani I ever tasted.Ordered Pakwan Special Chicken Biryani, Chicken is so bad and smells like a Fish Curry. Not even using a different Oil or Pan
We absolutely love this place and their food. The family that owns it is so wonderful. They cook really great food. We love the paneer tikka masala, butter chicken, chicken saag, and all of the biryanis (here we have goat biryani). The flavors are so rich and amazing.
Ate Vegetable Samosas. It had a fresh taste and cooked in oil rather than microwave before serving. Family owned and friendly people. Nice location. Close to Ashoka Indian Grocery store. Will try more items in the menu and update my review.
Yes, This place is a joke and the food is just abysmal and everything is very tangy. All the items were not appetizing, my hunger was lost just by having thale gobi Manchurian and the lady noticed me and she gave dal as a replacement (nice of her). BUT THIS IS NOT INDIAN FOOD... DON'T WASTE MONEY HERE.
Not a fan of this place. Had a few less than pleasant encounters and food was underwhelming. In my last trip, the owner offered one price for an item over the phone, a significantly different price once I got there. When I asked why the price changed by over $20 for my order, he said it was because I only ordered one type of item and didn’t order a variety… won’t be coming back here. Poor customer service, poor communication, restaurant is not clean, and food is subpar. I dislike leaving reviews like this… but unfortunately sometimes it is what it is.
Food was very delicious and served fresh to order. Had haleem, paya, goat and chicken dum biryani. Very well cooked meat and flavorful! Great taste compared to most Indian restaurants I have tried in various states I’ve traveled to. Went by a friends recommendation and it was justified I felt!! Will come back!
I'll add a star because they honored an ingredient request I had and the portion size was good. I'm sure the people running the restaurant are kind people, but I'm afraid the food does not follow that heart at this time.To start: I have no idea where people are coming up with the word "authentic". There's a distinct lack of character to the food that I'm struggling to put a finger on. I have to say this and I'm sorry to the owners: this was just not worth it to me.The naan was akin to supermarket flatbread with some toppings, and I wish I could say the curries were good but they simply tasted flat. Dull is perhaps the word I'd use. It's not a lack of spice or taste, it's just completely out of balance. I've had grocery store simmer sauces that were much better if that tells you anything. The rice wasn't bad - nothing to write home about, just the same as the rest of the food. The dosa was just... I tried, I really did. I couldn't finish it.Look, I wouldn't go so far as to call the food flavorless as some have. I would call it one dimensional. It's as if you took the *idea* of a dish and distilled its many complex layers of spice, savor, and flavor down into 1 or 2 layers and then threw it on a plate. Kind of like a microwaved dinner (which makes me wonder).
We had the goat biryani, chicken dum biryani, Haleem and paya! Food is very flavorful and tasty. No complaints at all . It is a family owned restaurant and the employees were very friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant and must try to anyone who enjoy Indian food which almost tastes like homemade food.
This place is a joke. I am from India has eaten Indian food all my life. I wasted my money here. The food has no taste what so ever. They gave me frozen naan those you could buy at supermarket. The owner is always chewing tobacco. Wiped his nose with his hand while handing customer their food bags I will attach his pic.I would give negative stars ⭐️Please go check it out yourself. Best of luck!’nn
The food is great and portions are generous. For takeaway it's actually Five stars.Giving 4 stars as my kids did not appreciate the cleanliness of restrooms.
