We were greeted as soon as we entered. Sat down and looked at the menu. Ask for recommendations and we each ordered what was recommended. Very clean and friendly. Prompt service.

We're huge ramen fans and trying new ramen is a favorite past time of ours. Nishikawa was an AWESOME experience. We got the tonkotsu and the Yokohama ramen and each one was stellar. Their chashu pork is among my favorite I've had at a local ramen place. The ramen is "no frills" but high quality. Really flavorful broth and the noodles were a generous portion as well as perfectly cooked. On top of all of that, the portions were very generous for the price. The service was quick and friendly and the restaurant was clean.Overall, we had a stellar experience and are adding Nishikawa to our ramen rotation!

Ramen broth is like salted water and tasteless. The egg rolls are a real joke. All dipping sauces for the appetizers are from store bought bottles. You can just make them yourself at home quick and easy with costco frozen dumplings and some sweet and sour sauce. What else is worth to come here?

Wow... I'm truly wondering about peoples perception on what is poor vs. good. My personal opinion is that area meaning state/city may have something to do with the accuracy of reviews. Parking was ample because the plaza is pretty stagnant. We were quickly not pleasantly greeted, note there is a difference especially when the location isn't busy. They took extremely long to come back to the table to take our order. I ordered rice with pork belly, wow so bad. The rice was COLD and I expected a nice piece of pork belly but instead got some thin slices that were almost transparent and dry. My wife ordered a soy based ramen and char siu bowl. We noticed that there wasn't any char siu but a piece of stewed pork belly. I called the waitress over to tell her and she told me that is char siu... NOT TRUE. I make char siu frequently and my wife is Chinese and grew up in the restaurant business. We damn well know the difference. Shame on them. Poor food, poor service, outdated look and simply an overall loss. Needless to say we won't be back ever!

As a vegetarian, I was pleased to find their veggie ramen option. An apt decision, as my meals have been tasty the various times I have come. The staff have always been courteous. The atmosphere is a little more minimal but it does not detract from the experience. Definitely a staple ramen place for me.

I really enjoy the ramen here. The curry is my favorite with a soft boiled egg. I have yet to have a bad anything here. Keep up the good work!

This place is so overrated. We ordered 2 different ramens that tasted like nothing with 2 different hot levels. This is not what Japanese ramen taste like. Ramen at this place is more like Chinese noodle style (oily and bland). Pork broth was watery and tasteless for both ramen we ordered. No offense but I’m Asian growing up and living in SEA for over 20 years and I know what I’m talking about. Spicy/hot levels don’t mean anything here; mild and medium are exactly the same (not hot at all). I would say with the price I paid here, I preferred to spend it somewhere else that serves better ramen even I have to add a few more bucks.- Going back again? NO.- Recommend to a friend? NO.

The food was overall good. The pork was buttery and fell apart. The ramen broth was under flavored and as others have said, the “soft boiled egg” was hard. I actually saw a large container of precooked eggs in the kitchen which was very disappointing because they do not cook their food fresh.

My 4 year old is such a picky eater but we decided to try ramen because it sounded like fun. This ramen is so delicious! She had the kids miso ramen, we love the black ramen. She liked it so much that she ended up eating it for dinner several nights in a row off of one order of kids ramen (they give you a lot!). We’ve ordered to go twice now and live 40 minutes away. I really like how they package it up, too, because when we get home we just pour in the broth and it’s still hot and just right.

This is a small place and it is best to make a reservation. I showed up and there was one table left open. After I was seated the crowd really started coming, so they get busy fast due to limited seating. The food came out quickly and was okay. For my ramen I got vegetarian with no spice and I barely had any flavor so I'd suggest going with a bit of heat for sure. It was still filling yet light. The shrimp Shu Mai was yummy and probably my favorite item. The spring rolls were crispy and flavorful.Service was good waitress/hostess was everywhere doing all the jobs and everyone was being helped.Decent experience here.
