Long wait time for food (45+ minutes during slow hours). Food was lukewarm and of average quality. Definitely not worth the prices.
This is the first and last time, me and my family ever eat here. Was the worst dine out experience, the food service was horrible and the food was too salty to even eat. We all waited for over an hour just to receive our meal, except for my husband he never received his meal so he cancelled and left the restaurant. If I could've rated zero stars I would've. Save your money and go somewhere else.
My son suggested Teppanyaki for a Valentines double date, so I was able to make reservations at this place and it turned out to be delightful! My son said this will be a regular place for him. The female chef was excellent, entertaining and she seasoned everything with lots of garlic which we love! Thanks so much Vanessa! Will be back!
My husband and I have been coming here for many years to where we were known as regulars especially to one of the wait staff that knew us from getting married to the birth of our 2 sons. We went a few weeks ago for lunch and the service was horrible. Our waitress sat us down and took 10min to get our drink order, I asked for sweetener twice for my tea and she didn’t bring it till our food arrived and when I asked her a third time she brought it like she was doing a favor. Then she never checked on us for drink refills or anything just to bring us our bill. Might I add it was just myself my husband and two babies, and 1 other table. We only return because the food is good but we hesitate going because of the service. Which is very sad because we’ve always loved this place.
It was great. really enjoyed it. first time and absolutely will be coming back.
This place is like Japanese comfort food that has it all (teppan/dining tables/sushi bar). Has been open since 1990! Has the coolest owner and the staff are great people. Things can get hectic when it's busy just like literally any other restaurant on the planet, have some patience! The atmosphere is VERY comforting! Regulars are also treated like family. This is an incredibly special place. They continually create special, and delicious new sushi rolls regularly. It's one of my permanent spots for sure. You won't be disappointed! I should also mention auto gratuity only applies to larger groups only, it's a very common practice for a lot of restaurants anyone complaining of something like that sounds like a Karen.
Make sure to check your receipt before you pay! They like to add hidden charges, such as Auto Gratuity (without mentioning or showing until after paying), they charge extra for fried rice when the menu says it comes with your meal, also they charge different prices than what their menu says for certain items. Owner also refused to talk to our group and/or offer refunds for extra items that were charged for. Wouk not go back Ever!
Been here many times and this place is hit and miss. Lately more miss unfortunately. Understaffed, overworked, I dont know but it’s disappointing. Ive walked out of this place 3 different times now. We come back because the food is good. Dont be mistaken the food is good.Called in a reservation for a birthday and the person told us we wouldnt need a reservation and didn’t take our name. We arrived to the restaurant, no reservation for us. Our party was ignored for people who walked in after us. Was told multiple times they were going to clear a table for us but it didn’t happen. Very sad.
Ordered vegetarian teppanyaki assuming it would be cooked on the grill in front of me, until they brought it out from the back. Left an 18% tip anyways, but then found out there's already an 18% auto gratuity that was added to my bill without anybody disclosing it first. Tipped 36% for mediocre food.
Good experience. The food was great and the service was more than decent. I would definitely recommend. The only complaint I would make was that my glass could have been rinsed better, because it had a slight soapy flavor.
