My favorite MOD Pizza! Made to order, fresh, cooked quickly, and great atmosphere. It's fast food but it feels like you're eating healthier than the usual fast food fare. It's nice to sit on the patio and enjoy your food when the weather's so beautiful. And you're in the shade because the sun sets on the back side of the restaurant which is always a huge plus one dining outside in Arizona.
I'm pretty baffled at the quality and training staff must get here... It seems closing staff needs more training and better supervision.I observed staff goofing off and seemed distracted and careless. One of my pies got burnt pretty bad and staff solutions was to SLICE PART OF THE PIE OUT THAT WAS BURNT!!! Then he just left it in the box. Then I asked for some ranch swirls on top. He seemed very disconnected and slow in the interaction as if he was under the influence of something!After I woke up today I felt sick to my stomach and feels like food poisoning... I remember he grabbed ranch from the counter vs the fridge like normal. I'm just going to assume that ranch was sitting out for hours and went bad with how I observed staff acting.
I love mod pizza as a franchise.But this store is managed poorly.Severely understaffed. And the staff is not customer friendly tooI placed an online order. I went and waited for another 30 mins for the pizza that was already made. It took 30 mins for the guy to check the name on the pizza.Never going back unless they change the staff
Went here for the first time and it was my worst experience ever! They had an attitude and gave you dirty looks just cause you didn’t know what you were doing but they didn’t bother helping you out either
I used to work here, and at that time I would have given it one star. But the new staff does an amazing job of making great pizzas and keeping the place clean. I have food allergies and the new staff is always so accommodating and respectful. After I quit I thought I’d never go back, but just a year later it’s a great place to go for delicious, well-made food.
It's one of the lesser 'build your own pie' places. The crust is not great, and the topping choices are not as good as some competitors.
Waited 1.5 hrs after pickup time for an online order that never came (well 1 of 2 pizzas came out at about 1 hr). Eventually just asked for refund. Would help if app would adjust pickup time out for busier periods like Friday evenings. Feel for the staff struggling to keep up with the pace of orders.
I love mod pizza and they have a great product and hire well but at this location I had ordered online and arrived 20 minutes later and then had to wait over an hour for my single pie while over 20 "in person" orders were being finished ahead of mine. There were several others as well who made the same mistake as me thinking that ordering on the app would reliable and quick. What kind of sloppy algorithm is coordinating customer order prioritization?? What really is the point of the ordering app? Must not be convenience, and yes MOD, I would like a little cheese with my wine.Update: so apparently it was national pizza day (per my teen), but I'm standing strong that my wait time was unacceptable and embarrassing.
Ok so I love ModPizza. I do not love this ModPizza. There is seriously something wrong when you have a full staff and too many orders or the entire process needs to be looked at. There should be no reason for 18 people to be waiting for pizzas. If your online orders are getting you, well it's 2022 and im sure there are processes to pause or cease online ordering. I've seen it done. Also if your delivery orders are getting overwhelming call the support agents of the companies to increase prep time. Or use the tablets they gave you. It's technology, use it. Also, no sense of urgency, at all. Need some lessons from Jimmy Liautaud. If you need a new GM, I'll take over. Just let me know.
I haven't even got out of line yet and I've already had THE WORST experience at this MOD. BAD attitude, BAD customer service, TERRIBLE pie making. I asked for extra cheese, I literally got maybe five to ten strands of cheese thrown on. I asked for jalapeños and they were ALL put dead center. This location needs to work on tone of voice and attitude. Extremely disappointed.
