Went there for dinner with the family and it took for ever to get our food and it was far from busy! The cheese enchiladas had no cheese inside and the next table was complaining about the same thing. Then they served brown guacamole. Said to the waitress that it’s been along time since we’ve been here and with service and food like this probably won’t come back. She said that I don’t blame you. They need Gordon Ramsey to revamp this place into a good Mexican restaurant!
Our early dinner tonight was awesome!Starting with our waitress; it was Corinne's first day & she was amazing!Corinne was polite, gracious & helpful. We give Corinne 5 stars. Our order was fast & delicious, colorful & well presented. 5 starsGreat portions & great prices.Try their bean dip; Awesome!Corinne got our service dog a dish of water.Thank you so much!
Took the family to dinner here last night as we had not been in several years. It was fairly busy for a Friday evening. Server was very friendly. Dinner was good and the chips, salsa, and bean dip are also very good in my opinion. Only disappointment was it took 45min to an hour to get our food. I am sure being busy and more than likely staff shortage, like a lot of places right now, was the reason. Other than that it’s a solid choice for a standard Mexican fare dinner.
Meat on both of our entrees was burnt...literally charred black, super dried out and we could not eat it. When we advised our server, she asked if she could "bring something to moisten it." On the other hand, the tortilla chips were fresh and crispy, the salsa was great, the refried beans, were excellent. Choose wisely if you decude to risk this place.
Food was very good! Service was great! We will be back ?
I've been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in Arizona but it's been hard to find one that meets what I consider great Mexican food. This place is definitely the best I've had in 14 years in Arizona. The chili Colorado is tender and tasty, the red sauce on the wet burrito was to die for. Rice and beans were also awesome. Enjoy!
Great food and amazing wait staff. The decor, patio, and bar are all super inviting and make this a wonderfully unique place for Mexican food and drinks. Love the margaritas, too!
We stopped in for a quick lunch and have a new favorite restaurant! Staff was attentive and courtesy. Our meals were great, the hot sause is fantastic. We will go back!
I’m response to “D B’s” review right before mine, this is the server who didn’t keep an eye on your tea. Before I respond to that situation I just want to say throwing your card down in front of me and muttering “poor service” and is terribly rude. Regardless of if you had to sit for two minutes without tea or not. I had been at the restaurant since 10:30 am. I opened the place and was still there to close it. I have little to no time to relieve myself during my shift and I had to at some point resulting in you having to spend two minutes without tea in your cup. Not to mention, when I brought you your tea, you drank two sips and then left. From the moment you walked in you were unhappy that I had to pour two beers from a servers ticket because I am, in fact, the bartender. While I was directly in front of you and pouring the beer, you got up and went to the host stand to ask if there was anyone at the bar. I was, again, right in front of you and pouring two beers. You were not my only customer either, as I serve the big tables behind where you were sitting. I am also responsible for the phone, to-go orders, and making every drink that is served that night. So yes, I could not greet you immediately, however you weren’t sitting for more than 3 minutes before I could get to you. Yelling that you’ve been waiting for tea at me, while I’m in the middle of getting your tea, is not necessary and not how I would ever, nor should anyone ever, treat someone who is spending there day working to serve YOU. I will never understand why certain customers choose to be impatient and rude to service staff on top of it. Then you chose to leave a rude review after telling me poor service and leaving a dollar tip. Also, you ate your whole chimichanga so it couldn’t be that bad :( have a nice night D B.
The worst restaurant experience I've had in many years. I was alone so I sat at the bar. Servers kept walking by me but that was it. I had to track down my own menu and had to get up and ask a server if anyone was working at the bar. I finally got one to take my order. It was the worst chimichanga I've ever had. It was totally burnt on one end and really dry. I asked for more tea soon and she said she'd keep an eye on it. She didn't. TERRIBLE!!
