This plays will forever be my favorite. I'm from the East Coast and it's hard to find authentic Carribean food here in AZ. I've been ordering from here for about 3yrs now. I never have a problem with food quality or service. The food is always on point which is why I keep coming back! And now there's Coco bread on the menu?!?! Ugh I just ordered through Doordarsh and I can't wait for my food to arrive. Support your local black owned businesses !! Keep up the great work.
If I could give more stars I would! The food is wonderful. Portion size is great as well. I got the curry chicken with rice and peas and plantains. Really really good food. I'll definitely be coming back!
I had the keel chicken. It was good but not much chicken: A leg and a very small thigh with plantain and spicy rice & beans for almost $16. I didn't think it was worth it.
The jerk chicken is delicious. Great job on bean & rice. While you are there try their Rum Carrot ? Cake ?.
This food was just bad I really do not know what to say the rice was dry and over cooked the fish the portion sizes were ridiculously small and the prices were way to high most definitely will not return I came on a referral from someone else a soda and slice of cake was 12 dollars, a total waste of 65 dollars in this place I do not recommend price inflation for not even mediocre food only thing that was ok were the plantains and the soda
I don’t know whose grandma is locked up back in that kitchen, but the food here slaps. I ordered curry goat, sides: vegetables & rice and peas. Ordered to go, took 15 min and meal was under $20. Everything was hot, seasoned, and tender. Lawdavemercy!!!
First and foremost, the staff is absolutely fantastic. Very pleasent and friendly. The overall vibe is a very good one, calm and enjoyable. They do an epic job of keeping it pretty chill. As for the food... Easily some of the best curried goat and chicken I've had in this country. It looks as good as it tastes. Spices and seasoning are used like they should be! The heat is great and the cook on the meat and rice is bang on point. I am going to keep coming back as long as I am here. Happily give this place a 5 star rating.
I walked into Hotpot today for lunch. There was a lady standing behind the counter so I said hello to her. She put on her glasses to look at me and then took her glasses off and turned to continue doing whatever it is she was doing. No greeting or may I help or anything. I though maybe she was in the middle of something so I stood there for another few minutes and nothing. A man came in behind me and she greeting him. After that I was done with this place. Such rude service, I will never return. Also, the man was not wearing a mask and neither was the lady behind the counter until I walked in. There are several other places to eat that are happy to serve you.
Whenever I get Curry anywhere else I'm a little disappointed. I have had this Curry when hot pot food truck used to come to GoDaddy for lunch and I just had it this weekend again finally at a food drink event. The chicken is so tender and flavorful I cannot get over it thank you so much for bringing me the best curry I've had in the valley.
