The server was quick and attentive and the food came out sooner than I expected which is always a good thing when you're feeling "hangry". The food itself, I'd give a 6.5 out of 10. That is not to say that it didn't taste good, it just wasn't anything special. 100% Iceberg for my salad was slightly disappointing however, the dressing was tasty. The "spicy" rolls I ordered weren't spicy in any way but they did have good flavor. Overall, I'd eat here again and maybe next time I'll try the Teppanyaki.

I met with a group at the S Alma School location for lunch. They do not have lunch specials! I guess I'm going to have to get used to the rising cost of restaurant food. I got the scallop tapan and they were cooked perfectly. I would have enjoyed about twice as many vegetables and half the rice! Our chef was real cute but no big fancy tricks! Service was, as always, very gracious.

Great service by the chef, super slow service. We went on a Tuesday evening and waited to be seated for quite a while due to the restaurant having only two wait staff on hand. The server seemed to keen on trying to just take our initial drink orders (and rush off to the next table) set of customers that my entire family and the customers next to us at the teppanyaki grill all ordered our food immediately.

I really enjoyed my lunch here. This was my first hibachi experience and i really would like to take my family here and have them enjoy the experience. I really liked the food. I had shrimp and steak from the hibachi grill and a dragon roll. All the food was great and the service was good.

??. Paid to much for such small a small serving.

I liked tempura, tuna sashimi, and salad. Roll is ok and chicken teriyaki was dry.

1. I waited 45 minutes my order was wrong (they also got the women's order before us wrong) . 2. They tried to blame me saying they gave the right thing but luckily I took Iook pictures and had witnesses. 3. My kids were hungry so we had to eat what we had butthe food was gross (sushi was super mushy, bland, warm) so ended up at Sonic 4. I had to call several times to get my money back. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the manager did finally apologize and refund our money. I will not go back but we are humans and make mistakes. At least she apologized. Most people won't do that now a days.

The place is over managed. The staff and cook were good. The cook messed up and made a scrambled egg instead of an over easy egg for someone else at the table. We told him to throw it into the fried rice but he said he couldn’t and had to account for the egg with the manager. Probably got thrown in the trash. If the cooks and staff are being over managed to the point of accounting for a 20 cent egg you can only imagine what their managers are over managing.Again food was decent but overpriced and staff was friendly. They all hate working there due to bad management.Us 2 and the other 4 were turned off at the table. If you want a fun experience I would look elsewhere. It’s a shame really… it could be a really nice place just bad management.

It’s was ok the server was really nice but the food was average for the price. Kids meals didn’t include drinks so $7 for 2 lemonades was a bit ridiculous when their chicken was $17 already. We did feel a bit rushed and didn’t get the good chef. There seemed to be two entertaining ones but we didn’t get either. We told them it was a birthday but in the end after getting the bill we had to ask and there is a $12 birthday special. I guess they wanted us out quickly. All in all service was fine but you will pay 5 star restaurant prices for a 3 star experience.Restaurant is outdated and overpriced imo.I think so of these other 5 star reviews are pumped up if you know what I mean..?

It was our first time visiting this place. We sat at the Teppanyaki Grill and our Chef was very talented, humorous, and made everything to our liking. We all wished that there would be one closer to the Surprise area, and perhaps in due time that may occur. I think this place really challenges the quality of food and level of services as compared to the other Teppanyaki type Grill restaurants throughout the Phoenix area. We are definitely going back!
