My hubby & I stopped here to eat a quick lunch after a doctor's appointment 2 hrs from our home. We got a referral from the front desk at the Medical Facility....love this place. We are very picky about our sushi and found a great menu, wonderfully fresh sashimi, great menu choices and great service & atmosphere! We will absolutely be back next time we have an opportunity! You have to check this place out! Felt good the minute we walked in. ?????
This is hands down my favorite sushi place in AZ. Husband and I have been coming here since 2011 and absolutely love it. We don't live close anymore but if we get a sitter this is a favorite to make the trip to. We absolutely love the edamame, crab puffs, every roll we've ever had, sashimi, gyoza and cocktails. We've never had a bad experience, EVER!
Food and service were great. I'm not giving them a 5 star because they need to update their pricing from the menu. I was looking at their regular menu in the appetizers section, I even pointed to the waitress and asked what exactly was the yellowtail jala ponzu. She nicely pointed to the picture on the other side of the menu and I ended up ordering it which showed the price of $9.95. I also ordered the angry edamame from the regular menu under the appetizers section for $4.95. When I received the bill the yellowtail showed $14.95 and angry edamame $6.50. I asked the waitress and she explained with the cost of everything going up their prices increased and it shows the updated pricing on the white paper menu to check the box of sushi options. Well long story short please update your menu so it is accurate in price. Yes we are all struggling and it is affecting us all but a menu is to show the food you offer along with the correct price. Otherwise, at least refer us to read the paper sheet for the updated pricing.
We used to go here all the time years ago but we're disappointed a few times so it has been a few years. We decided to give it a try again and boy were we extremely happy with the service and the sushi. Calamari was some of the best I have had in long time. Had four rolls and all were delicious. We will be back for sure.
Atmosphere was amazing. Very welcoming and family friendly. Staff was great too. The sushi rolls were also great. The only reason this isn't five stars is because the rolls were too small for the price. The rolls here were about an inch in diameter. That said, the fish was great, but the rolls need to be bigger.
Went down 2 stars from last review. Website says close time to be 9:30 called at 8:45 and they said no more orders because they close at 9pm. I just wanted 1 roll and live 5 mins away. After explaining that the website says 9:30 they still didn't take my 1 roll order. Customer service has gone down in the past year. Love the place but have let me down the last 3 times I ordered something. Might have to look for a new favorite sushi place.
Great, delicious place for a patio team meeting! We celebrated staff birthdays here recently and loved the food & service! We even gained a sushi ? lover!
Great sushi! I love the ambiance and music! The lake view is also a great perk, I definitely recommend this place!
Our favorite Sushi in the east valley. Our "go to" place. Nice variety. Enjoy sitting at the bar and talking with the Sushi Chef's. Had the "Love Boat"
Some of the best Japanese food I've had her in the States. Will be going back soon!
