Update: 6/28The District Manger Madison reached out to me took full accountability for the mistake and was professional and courteous. From our conversation, you can tell that she truly cares and spoke from a place of genuine disappointment for the experience that I had and she assured me that their goal was to grow and learn from it. I also appreciate that I was never asked or pressured into updating my review in order to be made whole so this edit is of my own volition. I have no doubt that my next visit to this location will be great!I ordered 2 combos with a shake and a concrete a week ago. I got home and realized I was missing the chicken tenders from the order. I tried calling the store a couple of times immediately after we realized that the food was missing but was unable to get in touch with anyone at the restaurant but left a message as requested by the voicemail. I have subsequently called 4 additional times throughout the week and still have not been able to speak with anyone except the voicemail that are never returned. I waited a full week before posting this because understand that stuff happens but at this point it is beyond a reasonable level of patience. This is the second time in a row that food was missing. Last time was months ago and was a hotdog, we had enough food without it and I just wrote it off as a mistake.
Edited / updatedAfter a few times of coming here I need to update my review to 1 star... too many mistakes and careless workers. 1st time they messed up my ice cream of what I paid and with how busy they were it wasn't worth the trouble to fix it.This last time we paid for large drinks but the worker argued we got mediums. Then we paid for upgraded burgers with bacon and got zero bacon and just a plain steak burger? Remember we paid for this upgraded.Words of advice to Freddy's and franchise owner. Spend some serious time on this location. Train Staff on proper fast food behaviors. You just have to try these burgers To experience the difference that Freddy's offers. They also offer custard or frozen ice cream which ties amazing with their steakburgers. Their fries are very thin shoe string fries and overall are seasoned extremely well and usually always hot off the Oil. There menu has lots of options if you're going with multiple people or just want to try something new overall I'll be coming to Freddy is consistently.
Though they were severely understaffed, and therefore overworked, they were still super friendly, helpful and accommodating. This is a great location, right outside Chandler Mall. The menu has some variety. The custard creations are delicious. I like the turtle concrete. So good. If you happen to visit when they are understaffed, please be patient.
I can't say I was too impressed with it.Let me start with the fact that they closed the lobby and lock the doors well before 6pm. Their sign in the door said "Due to staff shortages, they would be closing the dining area at 6". NOT BEFORE, AT 6. So I had to wait in the drive through line.Burger was average, and the patties were kind of thin for being 'steak burgers'. Decent flavor, reminded me of Whataburger, only smaller. French fries had good flavor. I asked for a root beer float, but was told they ran out of custard. I'm sorry... What?!? It's literally in your name. Won't be back any time soon.
First off, I LOVE Freddy's. However, for the last several months the dining room is closed most of the time. We don't live close to a location so it is a drive and a commitment. Their food does not travel well, the quality goes down significantly. Therefore, to drive several miles only to find out the dining room is closed is a huge disappointment. We usually just drive away but this time we went to the drive thru. The food was not great by the time we could eat it. I have asked several times that this location post on their Facebook page when the dining room is closed so that I could check before we drive. They did post the closure once, the first time I asked, but never since. The prices have gone up significantly as well, making the quality and worthiness even lower.
Don't pay cash if you want your order made. They took my money but forgot to make my order. Very careless. Debit is king here. Food is good though.
Darn I wish I would have known the new hours before I drove to the wrong Freddy's. I have one by my house but just so happened to be in Chandler. They are short staffed so they are only open from 1-8. Love their food, it's the only fast food I will splurge on from time to time.
The counter service and food were both great. I had to wash my own table, as it did appear they may have been short of help, and there were a few being trained, part of that training should be keeping dining and service areas clean, for a better customer experience.
Great food, only downside is that their indoor dining is closed due to tight staffing.
It was my first time and I wasn't disappointed. Not into the shoe string fries but they were seasoned to perfection
