Best sushi around hands down!! Cheap, fresh, nice place, fun investment! Always feel safe and comfortable there. Thank you eastwind for the good food and customer service! Keep up the good work and I'll be in more and more! You all deserve the five stars!
Absolutely love this place! I have been going to this restaurant for the past 8 years and they always have amazing sushi! They have a wide variety of sushi rolls, and nigiri. The atmosphere is very lively, friendly, and full of music. The the staff are great, and friendly. They offer alcohol, and fountain beverages as well. I remember when this place used to be a restaurant called Cupids, and although I miss it, I love East Wind! I highly recommend this restaurant to all sushi lovers!
Service was poor the say the least, they actually moved like it was downtime when it was a full house of customers! We love the mushrooms they have and even asked for fresh ones and it never happened we waited 20 minutes ate a few plates of sushi and left without the fresh mushrooms every coming out.. Not a good look for regular customers..
Plates are $2.50 now, but a good selection and everything was tasty. The conveyer belt makes it fun when you have a bit of time on your hands. The Tan Tan noodles were great! Just the right amount of spicy with a really good flavor. The layout is a little crowded but feels convivial rather than oppressive.
We arrived around 8pm. All of the sushi on the revolving belt was not very fresh. Most of it was warm and it didn't seem that any was getting replaced/rotated. We didn't see any new items come out either. We were allowed to ask for something fresh, but the taste of what we did eat from the belt didn't make me confident that I'd like it anyway. We didn't stay long.
This was the worst Asian food we've ever had. The rice in the sushi dishes were dry and crunchy. The ramen was basically chicken noodle soup, nothing japanese about it. The dumpling soup didnt even have dumplings in it. The plum wine was the consistency of cough syrup, it was thick and almost undrinkable without watering it down. The music was great if you like overly loud clubbing music. 2 of our party immediately felt sick after eating and none of us finished our food. The staff was nice but this did not make up for the abysmal food. Do not come here.

Fresh ingredients, reasonable portions and pricing. Attentive service. Lower sodium soy sauce option will be a great addition. Will try the nigiri in the menu next time.
