This shop is a hidden gem in the Chandler neighborhood. Location is very clean from top to bottom. Friendly staff, under new management. They offer filtered water and alkaline water as well. There’s ice blocks, and regular ice bags. The best part is the various concessions, ice cream and shaved ice and they have the famous Thirfty ice cream here. So many flavors. Must stop at this location if you’re in the area.Oh and the famous thrift ice cream
This place has changed ownership recently, I think a couple times, actually. We really appreciate the changes the new owners have made. The extended hours are great and the variety in the store is much better now as far as treats and drinks. Bella was there today when we went and was very friendly and generous when tasting and making our decisions with the ice cream. We will go out of our way to go to this water and ice instead of others.
Excellent store, very friendly staff, great prices and super clean! Also the Alkaline water fills 20x faster than any other place I have been and that is not an exaggeration! I get two 5 gallon jugs of alkaline and I am in and out in under 5 minutes! Other places it is 10 minutes or more per 5 gallons.
This is my local water and ice. I usually go in and out, but today I met Brian. He saw me eyeing the thrifty ice cream containers and offered me to try the cotton candy flavor, mmmm to my surprise it was delicious not too sweet and it brought back childhood memories. I usually stick to my pistachio nut or black cherry but then he gave me the “Napa Valley ice cream” tasting experience. I tried birthday cake (wow again delightfully surprised), butter pecan, butter pecan praline, and all I have to say is that I am coming back for more. The small ice cream containers are $7.99. I love this place! Thank you Brian!

Water and Ice in Chandler on Pecos is a lifesaver. They had everything I needed for my camping trip. Andrew was helpful and knew exactly what i needed. I give it a five star rating!
Super clean place with a helpful & friendly staff!
I like coming to this place for some super cheap ice cream! For me, it's fun to be able to avoid the expensive and gluten filled deserts at restaurants and stop here on the way home. It's under $3.50 for two big scoops of ice cream that amounts to a pint or so worth. We have RO water at home, so I only know about the ice and ice cream, which I have always enjoyed :) I'll keep coming here for sure.
They have awesome Thrifty Ice Cream, Drinks, and shaved ice!. They also have great water and ice! And the staff is very kind and courteous.
