Good food at a great price. Toni was absolutely the best. She walked me through all the options. She was friendly and helpful. It is nice to see someone helping with a smile on their face. I will definitely be back.The food was good and filling, can't go wrong with cornbread and jalapeño beans. :)
I love the atmosphere but they seem to be short handed. 15 min wait for a lunch special is too long to wait. Ive been here before and enjoyed it more. I ordered the pulled pork lunch special. They serve it dry and you can add regular or spicy BBQ sauce. It is good and simple and the includes a small drink. The 3 stars is because the wait and then when it was delivered to the table the plate was tossed on my table and the top bun fell off and landed on the table which was very sticky and did not seem clean despite me being the first customer of the day.Revised to 5 stars due to the quick response from management. This shows they do care and I am confident it was a fluke that I had a less than great experience my last visit. Like I mentioned it was always good before.
We ordered to go family picnic, which said feeds 4, but I think 2 of them must be children.They don't give you plates for to go family picnic, so you can't really eat it as a picnic unless you bring your own plates.Service is TERRIBLE!!They forgot my BBQ sauce and the meat was very dry.Allegedly, the meat by the pound is "cooked weight" per the staff in store and when I called to verify, but they shorted me on my meat and only gave me 13.3 oz, yes, I weighed it!Out of rolls so only corn bread available.Did I mention the terrible service?Apple cobbler had apples that didn't even taste baked.Rudy's BBQ is right next door to them, so save your money and your stomach and go there.Can't stop smokin bbq tastes like ash!
I was so excited to have great BBQ. I was so very disappointed ? the meat was dry and salty. They only gave us two small 1oz containers of bbq sauce... it would have made a blah meal better to have had more sauce. The Mac and cheese honestly, a box is better. Now there gravy was good ?and homemade tasting,there potatoes may be box lol. The corn muffin was great with honey. Unfortunately I would never pay for food from here again. made me so sad it's wasn't good and mad that we waisted money. There was mac and cheese in the middle of my potato ?
Always delicious and tender! Our favorite BBQ in town. We especially like their family platters. Very reasonable and they feed a lot of people. I also love that they have collard greens and green beans as side choices. Their fruit cobblers are great too. Take some home with individual ice cream cups.
For my money, especially when it comes to BBQ, faster doesn't mean better. This sadly reins true for this place.The service was quick and the employees were incredibly kind, but it is vastly overshadowed by the poor quality of food available. Their signs boast having some of the best brisket in town but that could not be further from the truth - It was dry, stringy and underwhelming. My wife's and my garlic potatoes were hardly cooked, and were slathered in what could only be described as movie theatre butter, but that pales in comparison to the cornbread that was somehow wet on the outside and as dry as the Sonoran on the inside.If you want to try this place, the pork isn't half bad, but I think there are better restaurants for both quality of food and value in The Valley.
I feel a need to change my posting to two star after arriving home. The mustard greens, mashed potatoes and pulled pork were very good. The spare ribs were tough and under done. The beef rib ($8.10 for one) was inedible, the rolls were hard and the sauce was missing.
Got the brisket sandwich and side of Mac and cheese and a drink (all x2) for less then $20. The brisket was perfect, I love they used sliced and not chopped, it was so moist and the bark was perfect and tasty. Would like to see the spicy bbq more spicy. Other then that I will def be back.
Place is family owned!The place was very clean. All the guys that were there were very nice and pleasant.Food was great and FAST!Had the #5 Pete's Pick.. DELICIOUS!!!!
I love this place.The customer service is great and the food is delicious. I stop in any time I am anywhere in the area!!
