This was my first experience eating Indian food. The staff was helpful and explained everything well. The flavors are bright and bold. We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Shahi Khorma, both were delicious. The garlic naan was excellent! We'll definitely be back, but maybe to order less, the meals are large, delicious but large! Certainly enough for 2 people.

I ordered takeout from here, and my first Bawarchi Biryanis experience was okay, but nothing fantastic. After I decided to dine in the restaurant, my experience was drastically shifted in a position directionThere was something about the atmosphere that made it quite pleasant and comforting. As soon as you walk in, you know you're going to eat good food. The waiting staff weren't overly friendly, but you knew they were dedicated to their craft of creating an impactful experience. The Chicken Tikka Masala was THE best Indian food I've ever had! The Garlic Naan was phenomenal as well, and the Samosas were fantastic! The pricing was very fair for the portions you receive. You will be leaving with leftovers that taste just as good the next day!I am now obsessed and will be coming here whenever I'm in the Chandler area. Bawarchi Biryanis is an absolute home run and needs much more praise that is has been given. The staff care about their food, and definitely care about your dine in experience.Phenomenal work, Bawarchi Biryanis!

The roasted goat appetizer and the creamy yellow goat Curry were amazing. Best I've had in a long long time. Service was top-notch but relaxed. I would recommend this to anybody that enjoys Indian cuisine

***BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT*** I tried Bawarchi for the first time in 2015 while visiting North Carolina. I became an instant fan. I was bummed after coming to AZ as we didn’t have any. Every state I visited after, I would look for this Resturant and wished we had one locally in Arizona. During the pandemic, we finally got this restaurant and my wish came true. Even though I live about 30 miles, I’m here once a month. Words cannot describe how amazing the food tastes. Thanks to the amazing chef! Also, the staff is very friendly and the customer service is phenomenal.

We went to Bawarchi for Sunday Dinner with some friends and had non desis in the group , we had an awesome experience, food was super delicious ,fresh and with right flavours as per the menu.. Chef was sweet, knowledgeable and on our request was able to customize the spice level and flavors as per our pallet of different individuals in the group as some wanted super spicy and some wanted it mild. Our guest really had a great experience and were very happy. Thank you Chef Anthony and Mr Sai for your hospitality and making it a memorable experience. We will keep coming back as long as we get this kind of hospitality and food. Cheers !

1.5 hours to make one lousy biriyani on a Tuesday? Could have flown to India, enjoyed a plate of biryani and flown back. Also, worst customer service. Saw three people walk out as these guys took their own sweet time to cook a meal.

I am not ready to give atleast a star, First thing I didn’t like the customer service, second thing my order was too late, I waited for 1 nd half hour (90 mins) to get my order ready, third thing was the taste of food. The worst taste of thalapakattu chicken biryani, mutton dum biryani and double ka meeta. The quality of food was very poor I will never order the food again. I have a worst experience. I don’t recommend this restaurant. For this I have spent 54$ but not worth. 2093783 this is my order number

Attaching a picture showing all the "veggies" I got in my veggie biryani. Can you spot anything other than big cauliflower florets? I can't. Why is it so hard to maintain quality? We ordered the same biryani a few months ago and loved it. Has the chef changed now? I don't understand. If they don't know how to cook biryani, simply take it off the menu. But stop serving this awful colored rice with absolutely zero flavor. I literally had to add rayta to the rice to make it flavorful. In case you don't know Indian food, it's NOT supposed to happen. I can't believe I paid around $12 for this, it's no better than regular rice served as side with most curries in most restaurants FOR FREE!!

This review is about their service, not about food. We went there last Sunday at 3 pm. The sign on the door said "Open" so we went in and as we were trying to sit down, the waiter came to our table & asked us to hurry up and order immediately because the kitchen will be closed soon. We were surprised at this because the sign outside said "Open". Anyway we knew what we wanted and ordered immediately. The food came in 10 mins and was good, and we started eating. Midway during our meal the waiter came and handed us our bill. Its ok we thought we'll pay after we are done. Again the waiter came to our table after 5 mins and asked if we were ready to pay. We were still eating at that time but anyway my wife took her credit card out and placed it in the black folio. After we were done with our meal, we left the restaurant. This experience was bizarre to say the least, if your kitchen is getting closed soon, please switch off the "Open" sign outside so people don't come in. And please let people finish their meals and not harass them for payment while they are still eating. Again, this is just review of the service, the food was good and we'll be back again but the service leaves much to be desired.

I hosted an event here and their staff was very cooperative and helpful. Their goat fry biryani is outstanding.
