My first time there. Very good food and service (Spike) the bartender couldn’t have been a better server

Lovely ambience lovely hospitality. Just taking one star away due to the dish I was served. I ordered their new shrimp with rice dish it was too salty but the taste was still good. Diego kindly replaced it for me with another dish which was okie dokie ..I also tried their raspberry margarita which also ok .. I will still try it again to get that dish again with right amount of spice in it ..

The service was alright, the margaritas were good. The food was terrible! Everything was over cooked, the shrimp rubbery, the steak was supposed to be medium. The potatoes and beans looked and tasted like they had been under the hot lamp all night. I’ve never left a negative review but please save your money and find a different spot to eat.

Very delicious food and dessert. I really love the food very big menu to choose a delicious meal. Very nice and kind waiter always checking if everything was OK and give refill ice teas didn't have to ask for more.??

What can I say about grandpas place? It’s amazing!!! If you want Mexican you can always go to any run-of-the-mill taco place. But if you want REALLY GOOD Mexican you go to Abuelo’s. Don’t forget it.

I'm a regular at this restaurant, but a lot has changed unfortunately. Chip and sauce portions are significantly smaller. I don't know whether the server needs more training or he doesn't know common curiosity. If your are going to serve sauce shouldn't you give the customers plates or bowls so that we can enjoy the food instead of it being dripped onto the table. Also food took 45 mins for only 2 dishes and it wasn't a busy day. One of my worst and memorable experience ever. Server name: Diego. Beware!!! You will have to eat on your napkin like I have to.

I got the juarez plater which might have been to much for me but if you want a tamale, taco and 2 different types of enchiladas. The strawberry tea (3rd picture) was very fruity and the tea mixed perfectly. The strawberry lemonade (2nd picture) was fruity and sour. The steak chimichanga (1rst picture) was melted perfectly and the texture was floury yet crispy at the same time. The server was very attentive to what we needed. Definitely recommend for a good first date.

Good food, wonderful drinks, and friendly staff.

Came here because we like Mexican food and saw TA recommendation. We agree it is excellent - wide range of food available, attractive dining rooms, quick and friendly service. One of us had the chicken fajitas, the other had the beef enchilada dinner. LOTS of food, all very tasty. We also tried the flan and the cheesecake for desert. Both very good. Note - we tried to make a reservation and were told they were not taking reservations (about 6 PM on a Saturday night). Person on the phone said come in now and we can take you right away So we did . We were seated immediately. Prices a bit on the high side but we would recommend. N

Servers were delightful and helpful with the menu. Thanks, Marissa. You’re an absolute rockstar. The hostess, Natalie was super friendly and gave us good seating. Food was great. Awesome atmosphere. Comfortable chairs and clean friendly inviting atmosphere.
