The food was delicious and so was the service. I had a slight problem after we were done with our meal. As I dropped my credit card between the slats on the outdoor decking. Mike and his wife worked diligently to retrieve it for me. After almost an hour they succeeded. They went above and beyond customer service. Was very thankful to them both. I will be back next time I am down in Casa Grande.
Ate here twice in our two months in Casa Grande this winter. serving breakfast, lunch. Suggest you make reservations - place is very popular. Located in Old Town. recommends below; i also had the Hatch breakfast- chili relleno smothered w chili verde, topped w 3 eggs-- but thought the chili verde and eggs overpowered the relleno. Big House is added to our restaurant route for next year.

Portion size is legit.Service was good.Flavor was bland/ lacking big time for me and my family. We also had expected a good buttermilk or sourdough pancake. Surprised it had cornmeal in it (we weren't fans of that). Don't know if we would ever go back.Had it not been for fresh food, large portions, and the service I would have done 1 star. We like lots of flavor and it just didn't have any (and that's after asking for salt, pepper, and "salsa").* If you like Midwestern style food it will probably be a great spot for you.
I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and it is a big hit. Located in old town Casa Grande it is small, only 10 tables. We arrived at 10:15 and there was a 45 minute wait. I think they were short handed. It was well worth the wait. I ordered the Chilaquillas, sturdy corn chips covered with red and green sauce, topped by eggs, served with charro beans and home fried potatoes. This is the best I have had in Arizona! The chips did not get soggy. My husband ordered the Chorizo and eggs, very flavorful and delicious. It also came with charro beans and home fries. Be sure to come hungry, we could not finish everything on our plates.
I love their food. Sausage was pink. Still really great service and food. Could ask if the customers are satisfied after you bring out food, which would have fixed this most likely. First visit burned French toast. I think they just overlooked? Perhaps chef needs a thermometer??
Excellent! Good quality food, decent service, but expect a wait as it is a popular place. We had breakfast which is available all day (well, until 2pm), I had the Tuthill which is homemade Corned Beef Hash topped with 3 poached eggs- and the poached ordered soft were exactly how I like them! My wife had the CG Ruins, which is corn flake crusted French Toast, also excellent! We don't mind paying slightly more for a quality product. We will be back.
the food was awesome. but once seated it took over 20 minutes for a server to wait on us. then it took 40 minutes to get our food. (pancakes and eggs) I was told by other people in my party that they are very "laid back" in other words slow moving. and there was a line out the door.. the people could have been seated if someone would clean/bus the tables. No matter how good your food is if your staff is not...it is not worth my time. it was my 1st time there and my last.
