We ate here several times and it was always a good experience. Hostess and wait staff were friendly and prompt. The breakfast which is available all day is a great value. The biscuits are huge! They offer several dinners in a "little less" portions which were the perfect amount of food. Both the pot roast and meatloaf were delicious.

We arrived for breakfast there. Both of us had the 2 eggs, ham, potatoes and either toast or pancake. So, the pros: Portions as always are plentiful Ham was to die for delicious Eggs cooked to perfection (I always ask for light scrambles). The pancake I had was so delicious. I don't eat pancakes except as they come off the grill. No extra stuff. Loved it and didn't need sugar they lightly put on them, but it was okay. Waitress was Olivia and she is an absolute angel and "Johnnie of the spot". Cons: Seriously we both only had one. The potatoes She had country style and I had hash brown. Both regrettably were lacking flavor. I understand mine, but what was supplied on table for season couldn't take the blah potatoes flavor. Add some seasons, add some garlic, or put them on the table to be used. Salt and pepper do not constitute seasoning. Wife's were also dry as if pre cooked and sat for a while. We're hot otherwise. So, all things aside, breakfast was great. Just need to get those potatoes some flavor and not sitting so long. We love Black Bear and have supported it by eating there since learned if it. Also, they originated in my home town after I had grown up and moved. Shout out to Mt Shasta!!! We will be back because even with the above it was all edible and neither of us were sickened and didn't expect to either. Thanks Team Black Bear Bullhead!!! Great job otherwise.

Reasonable and good food, good service. Its nice in this time of a very unstable service environment and nice to see that this place doesnt use Covid as an excuse for bad service.

Wonderful place with an extensive delicious menu that will leave you full. From cheaper eats to steaks, this place is sure to fill the bill. I had the roast turkey dinner and just could not finish it.

While a visit to Laughlin NV, we decided to go eat breakfast at a local restaurant. We ran into this diner and boy o boy was this place awesome. Right from the start we were greeted by a waitress who seem to have come out of a starbucks having ten cups of coffee. She was the most fastest, quick talking, and most nicest waitress I have ever seen. Never have we been attended so courteously in my entire life. Olivia is definately the wonder woman of waitresses. And of course, lets not forget the food. Hats off to the chef and cooks of this place. Breakfast was like eating home cooked meal grandma used to make. Love this place and I recommend it to all visitors to Laughlin. I give it 10 stars to Olivia and to Black Bear Diner.

The pancakes were so good my daughter and her boyfriend decided we needed to eat at Black Bear twice while in the area - Bullhead City and in Vegas. Lots of food on your plate! So much so, that we tried to take leftovers, but the hotel didn't have a fridge or microwave so it went to waste. Next time we will split meals! And there will DEFINITELY be a next time!! Service was great, food was really good and pricing was typical of a family style sit down joint.

Visited due to the amazing reviews and was very disappointed. Would have rather had Waffle House, Denny’s, or McDonald’s. Server was more interested in his phone than us. We both had the prime rib dinner with potato soup and it was truly bad.

Excellent breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict and my wife had an omelette. Very goos sided portions and great service. We will eat here again when in the area.

It doesn’t matter what you order. You’re going to love it. It doesn’t matter who serves you. You will get terrific service. It doesn’t matter who’s in the kitchen preparing your meal. They know what they’re doing. This restaurant chain has the best food and has the most consistent service in the country and this one in Bullhead City holds its own. I’ve been trying for years to get a bad meal here. Just can’t do it. Doesn’t matter. I’ll keep trying.

Holy cow! We had wondered why so many people wait outside in 117 degrees weather for this place! We had to try it. My husband got the Denver omelet and thought it was strange to have items thrown on top of eggs which didn’t bring much flavor, rather than cook the vegetables in the egg mix for flavor, his was just normal portion. Mine on the other hand was crazy way to much food for one person. I don’t remember the name of it but had a homemade biscuit (huge ) covered with gravy , sausage and egg plus a huge portion for 4 people of hash browns. I would guess the hash browns to be about 5 inches wide and 10 inches long plus a good 1 inch thick or more. If you love hash browns..this is your joint! If not I would ask if you could substitute for something else. I loved it all but my husband thought the gravy should have added flavor like bits of sausage to it..which would be real good. Enjoy.
