Tonight we ordered dinner to go from this location. They were severely understaffed. I waited thirty minutes for my online order. Once I received my order one meal was missing. Our fries were cold and completely soggy. My son ordered the silly face pancake meal. They literally tossed the pankcakes, eggs, and bacon in a pile in the box. The eggs actually stuck to the pancake. My daughter's chicken strips tasted like rotten fish. And there were broken pieces of toothpick in my sandwich. They did not give us any utensils, napkins, or condiments. Overall it was inedible and a huge waste of money. At this point I'd like a refund, especially after paying nearly $40 for the meal.
Usually the food is so good, but at my last visit the hash browns tasted like they were made with old grease, the sausage gravy was bland and there was so much water in my eggs. The strawberry crepes were good and the bacon was on point.
Village Inn is one of our favorite spots to have a great meal ( grilled chicken avocado swiss sandwich hold the green peppers is my favorite). We are always treated with a smile and promptly if we are eating inside. And of course who doesn't love a slice of their famous pie selection? Our favorite pies are Key-Lime and Reese Peanut butter cup. I will say as long as we have been going to Village Inn; they did change their recipe on the Peanut butter Pie. They added peanuts to the creamy mouse and for me personally I preferred the original recipe.
Just had breakfast with my parents. The food was great made just right and my parents always ask for changes. Lisa was fantastic. She was cheerful and gave great customer service. Thank you. It’s their new favorite spot.

Their food is very tasty including their pies and cheesecake. at the beginning, the service was going great; the waitress was attentive during the first half of my visit. one issue was just lack of self distancing; all of the customers were within close proximity of each other and what upset me towards the end was waiting for over 20 minutes to pay only to realize that my waitress will not ring me up I had to go back to the front it would’ve been nice to know considering I’ve never been there before and there was no specification. I really wasted my time and I couldn’t find my waitress at all so I was struggling to find someone who can clarify it for me
Cook is not consistent with the food. 1 stack of delicious fluffy pancakes other stack flat and hard around edges. My older sons hashbrowns were perfect mine had burnt black stuff mixed into it. Sent back and received soggy grey hash. Chicken fried steak was fried to death. Breading hard enough to break a tooth. My sons chicken tenders from the kids menu were great. Waitress didn't offer water or a to go box. Pic shows my sons hashbrowns and my grey soggy ones.
Very disappointed! All my bacon was burnt and hard. Whoever cooks there should be ashamed
Always like the breakfast places that bring you the thermos of coffee so you don't have to chase the he server down to get a refill! Server and staff were pleasant and efficient. The menu is extensive but the best value is the pick 4 items for $9 and it has 20+ items to choose from. There was plenty of gravy on my biscuit (I've had to ask for additional gravy at other places). Lots of cheese on the omelet but I was surprised at the small sausage patty (everything else was large!). Plenty of jelly options on the table as well as different types of sugar packets. There were also lots of pancake options on the pick 4 menu. Very good place for breakfast.
Great food and free pie on Wednesday
