Fantastic sushi

Our waitress was delightful! Being a Washingtonian, having Trapper’s here in Arizona is such a welcome treat!

We always love it here, very good food, nice service and nice atmosphere.

It’s the greatest place ever, food is spectacular, the people are the best, and the food is unmatched!

Brooks was our server this time and they were amazing! I’m a long time lover of Trappers sushi and so happy to have them here in AZ now. The quality of the fish is amazing and tastes just like it did in WA. Thank you!

Super awesome- the sushi bar chefs were great to talk to and had awesome recommendations.

There's not that many sushi places in Avondale so I was glad to see this place open. They have gluten free options and make the rolls right in front of you. It was all you can eat which worked out great because I was able to try several rolls. I had 3 different rolls and they were all delicious but my favorite was the Trapper roll which is the one in the picture here, I had to make some adjustments to make it gluten free but it was delicious! I definitely recommend this place.

Will never go back. Our favorite sushi place was closed on a Monday so I decided to give this place a try. We ordered online for curbside pick up and when we get there we parked really close towards the front of the parking lot but the waitress working there told us that they won’t come out to the parking lot we had to park within the only two parking spaces that are right in front of the restaurant. There isn’t a designated parking spot for curbside pick up either there were other people that were eating inside the restaurant that were parked there. So she asked us to park in the designated area for handicap. So OK she was going to come out and give it to us really quick so we can back out of there then fine. Then we get our food and to my surprise those pieces of sushi were so small and thinly cut as you can see in the picture you can see right through the yellow tail. And that little piece of wasabi. Just that little container of small thinly sliced sushi was $23 and change of course plus tax and tip at least $30. So not worth it. And another thing their menu doesn’t give you the option of ordering à la carte so you’re pretty much stuck with whatever types of sushi they have for the day. This place is just overpriced, we get so much more quality better food for less money where we go.
