Safety concerns. Beware when ordering from this place. The guy cutting the meat often sharps that knife, observed for 30 minutes. He does not rinse or clean the knife after each sharpening. Mind you, he is cutting the meat with this knife that is going into YOUR food. You’ve been warned.
I have never been disappointed with this establishment. The food is always fresh and served hot and the prices are very reasonable. I usually get tacos and quesadillas. The portions are very generous and the service is always quick. I also like that they're open late, so it's a good place to stop by for a snack or a meal after most of the other restaurants have closed.
The salsas and guacamole are excellent. The tortillas are made in-house every morning from scratch. Just like the tacos, the tortillas are handmade. The meat is also hand sliced. There is a wide variety of meat to choose from. The meat is cooked on the flat top grill. The meat is then sliced, wrapped in the tortillas, topped with the salsas and guacamole, and then served.
The service was great, the food came out quickly, and I tried a variety of different tacos, tamales and even a quesadilla, and everything was great. It was also a great deal, with a large number of options and great tacos for around $1 per. They also have a taco bar with premade tacos and sides for around $2-3 each. I would definitely recommend Tacos Don Juan to anyone looking for authentic Sonoran tacos and a great deal!

I love this place. The food is great and the prices are even better. The staff is always so friendly. The tacos are great and the al pastor is the best you can get downtown. I love the crispy quesadillas too. It is my favorite late night snack. I just love this place!
Ya'll guys are going to get your 5 star dropped until you learn to update your hours on Google this is the 4th occurrence and the second time i have to update your hours myself. Been here for 5 minutes and it's not just me showing up trying to eat here. Quit playing, ya guys got the best pastor in town.
m always looking for new places to try out and I recently found this place that serves authentic and delicious Food. I've tried their tacos, quesadillas, burritos and even the tacos dorados and everything was so good and satisfying.
Always a must stop when we are in the Phoenix area. They have several locations and we have enjoyed everyone we have visited. This is a simple place, not fancy at all. It's a walk up counter where you order then they will bring the food to your table. I always order the quesadilla. It is a good size and it is very tasty. This is not fine dining. They do have indoor and outdoor seating and we sat outside on a very pleasant day. If you go in with the right expectations, and realize this is basically a fast food place, you will enjoy the quality of food you get for your money.
First time trying this place. Good customer service and good location. Had the Mulita with Carne Asada. Unfortunately I didn’t care for it, the meat tasted old and oily.
