This is a nice place for a family dinner. I love the nostalgic feeling and old timer music. I had the chicken strips and a drink. The hot dogs are great but I'm more of a chicken and burger fan. No complaints here about the food. My only suggestion is that maybe the restaurant should bring a grilled chicken dish that isn't fried.
We love this place. The food, specifically the sandwiches, are AMAZING. Milkshakes are also good. We do not like the hot dogs here - I'm pretty sure they're boiled - the skin is very tough. ? My son picked this place for his 8th grade graduation dinner because he likes it so much. We got a chocolate cake to celebrate, it is rich and delicious!
I love Portillos’s so much,,,,but it was not as awesome as I remember. The combo (Italian beef and sausage) was a bit smaller than I remember but the Italian beef my wife got was plenty big. Cheese fries were good. Price was $35 for a pretty simple lunch. I guess nothing is a value anymore! Don’t get me wrong, the food was really good, but just not as awesome as I remember from Chicago!Dominic the bus-boy/bus-man was a classic to chat with.VictorB

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and I finally did and there was no disappointment whatsoever the best chili dog I've had in such a long time and that chocolate cake shake was the most delicious thing I have put in my mouth

Not a hot dog fan, but I’m a Portillo’s fan. My wife loves hot dogs, me not so much, but with burgers and other sandwiches, I found plenty to love. At this location, I had the Sausage and Beef sandwich with both sweet and hot peppers - so good. My wife’s hotdog was good, as were the crinkle fries (I’m not a fan of French fries either). It was a tasty meal and it was only $20.
