Terrible customer service. Order wasnt ready when I got there and was told by Roman that my food would be ready soon and he'd call me when it was. Waited 30 min past my orders eta time and turns out he left it over where the food is assembled with other orders. Asked for money back and was given a paper that said order closed and nothing about return so not sure on that but no apology or any attempt at fixing it. Have sadly had this happen before but at least that manager remade my food and apologized. When you get your food here tho its pretty good
They were extremely slow or under bad management. Food was stacking up as the cashier was taking orders, delivering food to the dining room and packing to go orders. The restroom was gross. The trash can was in the middle of the floor with no bag and the floors look like they haven't been mopped in years. The menu has been shrunk, but the food and tea were still good.
The food LOOKS fine, I was excited to try it even though our order was stolen before our doordasher had even gotten there. Immediately my chicken curry reeks of fish. The taste is bland, rubbery, and oddly sour/fishy. It left a nasty taste in my mouth and I'm assuming it's spoiled. Took 2 bites and I'm throwing the rest away. First and only time I will ever try this place.
Ordered Pad Thai twice thru UberEats and both times have been bad. First time the noodles were way soggy and todays order had no Pad Thai sauce? So disappointing since the one in Phoenix is great every time I’ve ever ordered but this is just dry noodles with some chili flakes.
Very pleased with my cashew nut tofu entree. The flavor was incredible on the sauce. The tofu was the Best I ever had! grilled, crispy, yet plump and juicy on the inside; big chunks!We ordered Sauce on the side and brown rice instead of white.Nicely balanced ingredients ; initially the vegetables seemed very minimal - but they are offset by the generous sized tofu pieces.I was expecting a long wait because I ordered Saturday evening 6:00 p.m. but it was not any wait at all through doordash
This is nuts! I order pei wei a few times a month on my App, and my order is almost always wrong. I placed another order today for a pickup at 4:30. I received a confirmation notice that my order was placed and received a confirmation number. I sent my son to pick up the food at 4:30, and they not only didn’t have my food ready, but said they didn’t receive my order, even though I received a confirmation order number. After my son waited 40 minutes, he called me and told me he was still waiting. I called the restaurant and the “employee” had no clue what she was doing and handed the phone to “someone else”, who, in my opinion, had no clue what she was doing either! She then told me that all of their online orders were cancelled due to computer issues and only one line cook. So, after a lengthy discussion, I had to reorder the entire meal, then got charged twice for the food, and my son had to wait an additional 45 minutes for them to “re-make” my order that was supposed to be ready at 4:30. I totally understand being “short staffed”, and having technical issues, but it seemed as though no one there had any competency whatsoever. It’s really frustrating, as we really like Pei Wei, and always order regularly, despite all the mistakes and problems we encounter there. I’m just a frustrated customer right now, and will not only not be recommending this Pei Wei to my family and friends, but will no longer be placing orders there as a result of my many bad experiences. These are hard times for most people economically and financially. We don’t order out as much as we would like to, but it’s so disappointing to continue to get poor customer service, wrong orders every time and frustrating experiences.
We usually get food from here once every couple of months or when they have a new recipe. The place and staff are good, but the food isn't always good. Sometimes the chicken/beef is way overdone/tough.
How is this place not closed down yet?When I moved to arizona 2 years ago, I couldn’t stop coming here. Everything, primarily the orange chicken, was excellent.Fast forward till today, this place and chain is nothing short of a joke.The food quality has been significantly changed, especially the chicken for a very long time now. No more white chicken but dark pieces are also included so it’s everything on the bottom of the barrel.Rubbery chicken, dark/white mixed pieces, shrunken pieces for an even HIGHER PRICE TAG.Here’s what Pei Wei did in short =Lower quality chicken, smaller pieces, extra money.I’m glad I told everyone to stop coming and feeding this place money they do NOT deserve.0-5. Under staffed and always prioritizing there take out orders, making them in 10 minBut when you dine in it’s always a 25-35min wait.All other locations I’ve been too dining in serves my food in 10 minDysart is the only location where I can’t , past 3 times attempting to dine in always told its a wait of 30-45 minWe are over it and we left every time. Why the sweat and sour chicken NUGGETS! This is not McDonald's. Im so sour I got pressed meat and nothing sweet about that. I could expect this from Panda but at least they still use battered whole chicken peices.
