I've been to Dickey's locations before and have had way better service and way better food. We arrived and the staff kept us waiting for about 10-15 minutes just to take our order and when we finally recieved our food it was cold... and their serve yourself barbecue sauces were out, that's like the main attraction... I really talked this place up to my family and it was their first time there and had the worst impression. So disappointed.
Take your money to the couple non-franchise BBQs near here, they do it better for the price.Portions are really small relative to what they charge. Meat is tender and well seasoned, but not so good I want to be overcharged to eat it again.Received wrong sauces, which wouldn't be an issue except they charge extra for the extra sauces.The mac and cheese tastes like powder. The potato salad is bland and weirdly crunchy. The cornbread was dry, dense, and cold (like it was in the fridge, could have popped it in the warmer or something to maintain the illusion I'm getting a good meal).Added a rib for 4 bucks, and was honestly surprised to get a single rib piece that was mostly just fat attached to a small bone (I didn't expect a whole piece of rib rack or anything, but the presentation of that little thing just seemed petty haha).
Food was delicious and generous portions. (As typical from previous great orders) Service was not the greatest(greetings not the warmest), but order was made quickly, accurate and was given the best value when I paid. ***Very Nice**** TY?
Usually pretty good for fast food BBQ but the service was terrible. It was before closing I get it but almost 45 mins before. My husband stood there without being helped and one female employee even sent him away from the register to where they "order" where the other employee just stared at him and didn't help him. Finally someone else walked up and helped him at the register where apparently he wasn't supposed to order at. Took over 30 mins to get our food with no one else even in the store then I had no BBQ sauce for my ribs, no pickles, no onions that we requested and are supposed to come with it. I'd say not a great experience, I'd rather go where the service is good.
5 star for the effort of the staff alone. We walked in 3/26 at 6:30.We were the only ones in line, 3 staff. They immediately let us know they are hit hard with online orders currently, she showed be a stack of 6-8 orders. After about 15 minutes they stopped filling those and worked us in. They were out of wings. We had pulled pork and brisket. Both meats were not hot, lukewarm. They tasted ok though. The sauces were ?!Their ice cream machine was empty, so that was a disappointment to our kids.What could of been a 2 star experience for us and probably should of been given their workload and short staffed, because they were honest and still maintaining composure, even the food wasn’t 5 star I still give them a 5 for their effort.
Delicious ? definitely recommend it.
If this is how the whole chain taste I’m shocked. My pulled pork was cold. My Burt brisket (offered as burnt) didn’t seem crispy or have burn flavor no smoke flavor. Just no flavor in anything. This taste like you can get it from gas station deli but charged way more. BBQ sauce was thin and again no flavor at all. Asked for a corn bread cup and received a dry roll. The French fries were the only thing exceptable. Baked beans and Slaw were basic as you can get. But hey it was dinner for the night. Won’t come here again.
Staff are nice but Mr. or Ms. Manager, please tell me how old these beans are? No juice and it's dry. Feel like sitting there for at least two days!? Don't you think?
$52 for LUNCH! Ordered 2 sandwiches, they offered me the "meal" so I said fine. They said pick a side so I picked 2, they said pick 2 more. Then when I ask for my drinks, oh that is extra. So I got 2 cups and filled them up. Grabbed 2 cookies for good measure and went to check out. When he said $52 it was like a punch in the face. I paid and will never go back. I can feed a family of 4 for that at Rudy's up the street. I literally felt like I got mugged!
People were friendly and helpful which gave them 2 stars. The brisket was tough no smoke taste at all and tasted like it was cooked in the oven. I had high hopes for this place, the staff & service was great but the food was terrible.
