They have a big sign in the window saying new SILK Almond milk ice cream but when you walk in they tell you “sorry the caterer didn’t bring it so we only have dairy milk” not to complain but maybe take the sign down? Just a simple thought!
Not only was my door dash order wrong, when I came down to request my order be made correctly, I saw this gentleman wearing gloves to handle money AND the ice cream. That is gross! And not allowed in food service. I worked in food service for years. I’m surprised they would do this. 9pm on June 3, 2022REDEMPTION: the gal was super nice and accommodating when I showed her my order was wrong. Diligent and helpful. Excellent customer service from her!
Horrible service. tremendous wait time. Only one person serving. They do not even had the flavors i was asking. They did not have any cones or bowls. Is sad to see the cold stone is the same. It was the best Ice-Cream ever and now is the worst ever honestly.
Horrible experience!!! What is the point of ordering days in advance for a custom cake, paid and confirme d order received. We show up to pick up the birthday cake and they didn’t have a cake ready. They couldn’t replace it… because it would take too long to make. Requested a refund since goods were not delivered. They can’t do anything because the manager is not there. Soooo disappointed.
For the sole purpose of commenting, a 1-star was given. In over a month we have gone to this location SEVERAL times and walked out empty handed. Doesn’t matter what we wanted (nuts, toppings, ice cream flavor, shake) … they didn’t have it. Ice cream is a guilty pleasure that should make you smile, not leave you disappointed or frustrated! We ended up going to Dairy Queen as they are more reliable, not what we wanted though. Truly disappointed with the lack of options especially when you spend 30 minutes in line to purchase your product.
Terrible service! This location sucks. Just drove for 15 minutes to go over there and they are out of everything. No bowls, no blueberries, no vanilla ice cream, no gram cracker crust and the debit card machine is down. José is the manager of this establishment and he’s doing a very poor job of running this joke of a cold stone. Calling corporate on Monday morning. And based on all the reviews I’m not the only one with these issues.
12 people ahead waited 30 minutes and there was still 8 people ahead. Left to another close location where they sell desserts. Understaffed? Not sure but there were only 2 people for a weekend in a location with high traffic next to a movie theatre, it doesn't help the poor staff. Poor management?
Ordered on Doordash at 10:20 (they stop taking orders at 10:40). They confirmed the order, waited 20 minutes and then cancelled the order for being closed.If you’re too lazy to do your job, at least have some decency and don’t confirm an order that you don’t plan to make!
Stood in line for over 20 mins with my 5 kiddos and when it was our turn to start our order, they tell us that it was cash only. No signs up and didn’t bother to notify anyone standing in line. Also, the two young workers were not very friendly. We left this location and went to to the Litchfield Rd location. While we were there they mentioned that something is always wrong at the McDowell store.
We would have given 5 stars just for the girl behind the counter! She was working her tail off. But her management let her down. No help, out of whipped cream (really, your an ice scream shop!) Cc machine down. No help on a Friday holiday weekend, she deserves a raise! She made our orders with extra ❤
