The manager was very nice. She came to our table to see how the food and service was I asked if she could put a "50" candle on their dessert and she accommodated us. The dinner was delicious. Our server was attentive and nice. Overall great food and experience.
Good food, great company, excellent service. Great place to eat!
Decor is very nice compared to most chain restaurants. The food was nothing to go back for. Had the grilled shrimp dinner. The shrimp were very small, tasteless, and tough. Served with roasted vegetables and jasmine rice. The vegies were delicious but the rice was just a scoop of plain rice. No seasoning, no sauce, nothing! Just dry rice. Others at our table had various meals. Burgers, fish tacos, tri-tip sandwiches. The consensus was that all the food was just okay. It's a shame because the atmosphere is really nice.
This was our third visit and didn't disappoint us....from the time we arrived, until we left...they were totally consistent. With 3 of the 10 of us standing in front of the desk (reservation confirmed by phone call)...we were shown to a table for 2!!! It went rapidly downhill from there. By the time we were seated (15-20 minutes later) we were all present. I couldn't help but notice a bunch of debris (crumbs and the crumpled paper from straws) on the floor under the table. It took another half hour before a wait person appeared. She was very sweet - when she showed up...but the painfully slow service left much to be desired. Hubby's soup finally arrived...ice cold...and had to be warmed up. My Caesar salad was soaking in dressing...but was barely okay. Then the main course arrived for all of us and the reviews were pretty varied, from mediocre to minimally okay...the steaks were chewy and had no flavor. The shrimp were way over-cooked, the side dishes lacked luster, and so on, and so forth. and to add the final insult, the prices are out of sight! As I said, this was our third and probably final visit. We traveled over an hour to join our friends there with the hope that this experience would be different. Sadly, we all left with a sour taste in our mouths.
The food was a little more expensive than we anticipated and was definitely not the quality we remember from our last visit in California.
Made a reservation for Fatherâs Day at 615 pm and was told they do not have a table for us and many others due to a buffet! They would text me when ready! Never got a text! Horrible way to treat people when they made a reservation! Never never go there!
When we arrived my family and I had to wait 30 minutes to be seated for our reservation. Our table ended up being a folding table from Home depot while several regular tables remained unoccupied around us. All of this could have been overlooked due to a very busy father's day. However when my nephews entree arrived and taken several bites, he uncovered a plastic glove in his food. We will never return to Claim Jumper.
I took my dad for father's day and we both did the father's day buffet special. It was disappointing to say the least. At $40/person I expected a much better selection and quality of food. Our waitress was great though.
Food was great..service was great. Will definitely eat here again.
First steak came well done, it was ordered med rare. Second one came out and had a terrible rancid smell and taste. Would not go back to this place. I generally like claim jumper restaurants.
