Great for fast food. Excellent chips and salsa. Great taco salad. Freshly made tortillas. Wish they had carne or ground beef though.
Food was awesome! Don't go when you're very hungry because everything sounds good. Ordered 2 Oaxaca special and 2 red beef burros. Also ordered 2 beef and two potato tacos and 1 dozen flour tortillas. Could not make up my mind, that is why I ordered so much. The 2 red burros, I deep fried the next day for dinner. Service was great and staff friendly and courteous. Burros are huge and very good!
First time here after wanting to try it out for years, because I live in Avondale. Customer service was not good. Staff was just standing around, socializing, and looking miserable by the cash register. Once you order, you feel rushed and as if you're bothering their social hour or something. Table we chose was dirty so we chose another and it was still dirty. Surprisingly, since there was staff standing around by cash register with no customers in sight. It was not a busy time when we went in. Worst of all, the enchiladas were plain with lettuce on the side soaked up by the red sauce and soggy. The cheese in the enchiladas was not melted and the tortilla was not fried well. The food was cold overall. The only decent item was the hard shell taco, even though it was cold. Other menu items might be good but just the experience overall with cold food, staff and cleanliness of this location will not have us returning or recommending.
Lunch and it was great I had the tamale Bean's and rice #11 my wife had combo#1 food was fast and there was a lot of people.. every bite was delicious but not spicy hot I like More heat in my salsa.. keep up the good work ...il be back for more also don't forget the one on 12st & mohave
Horrible service. The ladies were slightly sarcastic. We waited around 25 minutes then our number was called and they just called us to let us know they were out of guac… then had to wait another 25 minutes so in total 50 minutes. The food was average, i ordered a beef tostada and it had no beef. The rice was also crunchy im assuming it was the leftovers since they were closing soon. It should be labeled as Tex-Mex food and not Mexican. There is a difference LOL
Seriously yummy food.Chicken tacos were light and crispy.Salsa has a slight sting with tasty flavor.We will be back!
Always been a fan of Carolinas. This was my first time at the Avondale one. It was very spacious and clean. The staff was friendly the food was just as tasty as the original one on Mohave. Good prices too

And I can only assume the h stands for horrible service . I showed her how the grease was pouring out of our burritos and she didn't care . I asked for a couple of tortillas to remake the burrito myself and drain the grease she said " is this our first time here ??? " I said no! then she responded with a smart azz remark saying "well then you should know you will have to pay for tortillas" super bad cuntamer service . Wow
This location was VERY GOOD!!! I've eaten at the peoria location RELIGIOUSLY!! I almost felt guilty for going there lol!! But I was very skeptical that it wasn't going to taste the same.. (I was told it was the worst location of them all) but NO they were wrong!! It was just as good than the peoria location!!!! 5/5 stars!!!! I will be coming back for sure!!!!!
We showed up 10 minutes before closing time and was greeted by Angela. Her customer service was top notch. Knowing that they were closing soon she took the time and made several suggestions on what to order. Which was spot on by the way. Melissa was cleaning up the soda area and was sweet enough to assist me with getting a drink after she had just cleaned it. Both ladies were so friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back. Along with the service our food was amazing. Thank you ladies for a wonderful experience!
