This new restaurant was a treat for those who like something a little more up-scale. The choices were well-curated and crafted, and the ambience and service set a high standard. I was particularly pleased to see rarities such as “Hanger Steak” available. The prices were appropriate for this style of restaurant. I compliment and recommend them

Had the best and the biggest ribeye steak ever in Wasilla at Meta and Rose tonight. Amazing service and great atmosphere!

Went here for our anniversary. It was a wednesday night, so not many people, which made for a very quiet and enjoyable setting. Waiter and hostess were lovely and checked in on us the perfect amount of times and the food was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend folks check it out! I will def be going back to get that red wine flight at some point❤️

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. Mushroom Pasta was full of flavor, pork chops were tender and juicy.

We decided to try this spot for a girls night out, and I’m SO glad we did. The inside decor is adorable, the waitress we had was attentive/helpful, and the food was delicious! We tried the artichoke dip, caprese skewers, and meta and rose board for appetizers- all were good, but the dip was definitely a table favorite. My main dish was the lamb lollipops, and WOW! I’ll be dreaming of those for awhile. Worth the price. We will definitely be back!

I went here for brunch. The portions were extremely small which would be okay if the food was good but it wasn’t. The eggs Benedict I got had absolutely no seasoning, not even salt or pepper. The inside was super nice and the service was decent. They really need to hire a good chef.

Walking in we were greeted by the manager, whom made our experience amazing. Cute place, small, and definitely the place in Wasilla to go on date night. The art for sale on the walls was a cute touch, classy and not pushy. The upstairs is a great place if you want to get into a more intimate setting which I highly suggest.Oh and the food.... The chicken tequila pasta and the truffle mushrooms pasta were amazing. Portion sizes on par for what you pay for indubitably. My praise couldn't be higher for this place as everything from the ambiance, to the very friendly staff was something every fine dining restaurant should strive for.

Fantastic Restaurant Alert. I’ve been to all the top-tier restaurants (certainly the top 8) in the Mat-Su. First, Meta & Rose has a phenomenal interior decor and the music is perfect. Check out the art in the photos posted. The service is solid. Attentiveness and listening to orders matter and Kelsey nailed it and we had 14 people. Impressive! Now, the absolute best part of this taste-bud frenzy: the amazing, comprehensive wine and specialty drink menu, AND - the menu itself. Off the charts yum! As good as it gets in beef, chicken, shrimp, and pasta preparations. Unsure of the chef but he/she is clearly trained, talented, and meticulous. Delicious and well worth the price point across the pages. The only observations that could be tweaked: 1. Carding everyone at the table when some of us are mid-50s ( a new restaurant rule but I think unnecessary if you’re well over 21); and; 2. The initial French bread slice selection could be better (compared to the incredible appetizers and entrees) - the bread slices, while plentiful, could have more pizzazz albeit the garlic butter and pickled radish slice accompaniments improved the taste and added class); 3. The mash potatoes could have a tad more seasoning or just crank up the butter/half-and-half; and 4. A sticking point in that a group service fee at the % we were charged on a slow night was a bit much when at $27 above the $140 meal and we gave a 15% tip on top of it all. Sure, great meal - but don’t bankrupt us ;)-So definite A score and praise to the owner and service team. We’ll be back for sure!

Customer service and waitresses left a lot to be desired, seemed like they didn't even want to be there and/or they were bothered by our presence. The food was actually good minus the mashed potatoes and asparagus.. both could've been seasoned more and the asparagus cooked more. Portion sizes could have been a bit bigger for the price especially compared to evangelos or everetts. The beer with sample food and ice cream pairings were pretty good. The interior of this place is cute I love how the wall blends with the ceiling. The acoustics are horrible though.. it made it seem like we were louder than we were.Lastly I had called back because I had thought I left my purse there .. and the girl who answered was just so rude about it. I had told her nevermind I found it thank you! .. and she said oh .. okay .. great ? very monotonoe and rude. The staff does not care to be there apparently. This plate is the cashew crusted halibut

First time experience for my wife and I & two friends:6:30 reservations and were immediately brought to our table. Right away we appreciated the unique design and welcoming atmosphere - herringbone floors, radius back wall, detailed wainscoting and marble table tops. Modern music surrounded the dining room that was easy to carry a conversation over.We ordered every appetizer on the menu - plus a few entrées (steak & Caesar salad). OH & their cappuccinos with house made vanilla syrup were incredible. Everything was thoroughly enjoyed and shared. Too much food actually ?. Perfect seasoning and portion size- upscale options but all very approachable. The owners even checked in to get our feedback and could not have been more kind. The kitchen and wait staff was at their A game for sure.Looking forward to returning to try more entrées and wine! So happy to see another fine dining option in the Valley.
