I was vacationing from my hometown - one of the US's great culinary meccas - and stepped into this place. The ambience and appetizers ultimately don't matter. What matters is that the prime rib was the tastiest prime rib I'd ever had in my life. I've had prime rib from some of the finest restaurants in the culinary mecca that is my hometown, and the prime rib here surpassed them all. The flavor was incredible, and it was delightfully tender. I went back for dinner every day I was in Fairbanks. The desserts were tasty too, but the star was the amazing prime rib.

Back in April, I made reservations for two for Father's Day, when I was to be in town for my 50th high school reunion. Knowing that there would be many attendees far from home and unable to share Father's Day celebrations, I invited others to join us. My reservation went to 5, 7, 10, 12, and 16. The staff of the Turtle Club was very attentive to my changing needs, and didn't bat an eye as the numbers continued to rise. When it came to it, 14 of us came. We were well taken care of, the food was well prepared and presented. The server was absolutely excellent and helped to make our experience a fantastic one.

This might cost more than other places to eat, but this place always provides a great steak when we go. It's a favorite.

Excellent food, kind and friendly service. Limited menu allows them to focus on what they do well. The salad bar is amazing and the appetizer mushrooms in a wine sauce were divine. We always visit when we are in Fairbanks.

Went out with my Sister and almost ate to much. Thank goodness for take-out boxes. ? Our waitress was awesome! Attentive & friendly. The Portabello Mushroom Sticks were delicious. The Salad Bar, better than I remember it. The Prime Rib was soooo good. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to my Baked Potato, it looks really good but it will become a Twice Baked Potato later because I forgot that the Salad bar was included.

Food was good. We ordered Alaskan crab as well as the combo (Alaskan crab and prime rib). The crab tasted pretty good. It was much more meaty than crab I've had in the mix west and was easy to crack open. The prime rib had an interesting flavor. It wasn't bad but was kind of like pot roast juice and seasoning on top of a nice cut of meat. Not my favorite but I can see why people may like it. Service was ok but seems like we sometimes we were forgotten. We received our main food before asking about what the little packets were for. Then the waitress realized she forgot to bring out the bread. We also got the s'mores dessert. The price for the food came back higher than we expected (be aware the crab is sold at market price - I didn't ask what the price was ahead of time). We had a ton of leftovers and could have easily split a meal.My wife and I are travelling from Colorado, and I think this will be a one time stop for us. Not bad but not something we need to experienced twice.

I don't usually start with the service but Jamie was one of the best waitresses I've encountered in almost any restaurant, she was multi-tasking the entire meal and didn't miss a beat with our service, so definitely sit in her section! Now the food...all ill say is the Alaskan King Crab was second to none, that goes for lobster and prime rib also, this place is amazing all the way around!

Super fun place for five friends visiting AK to see the Northern Lights. Food was tasty and hearty, maybe a tad overpriced, but the ambiance, service, and general celebratory mood made this our favorite meal in the Fairbanks area.

Service was very slow. This is the third time we have had very slow service. We used to go frequently but it looks like we’re not going to bother anymore. The prime rib has also gotten WAY smaller?? I get it, inflation. But with how much the portion size has shrunk along with price ce increases is pretty insulting. They also crammed us into a small, uncomfortable corner. We also specifically asked to not be seated next to a large party of people. And lo and behold, they did it anyway. Never again.

Usually they are pretty good but tonight I had a dirty glass And dirty plate from the salad bar. We had to sit for a good 10 minutes before you've been getting our. Was really disappointed ?
