Food was ok. Thought it would be better. I did not think it was worth the money we paid for it. Perhaps it was just an off night, but we would not go back. The setting was nice and the waitress was great.
Good size proportions, good food. Fun atmosphere. Love the dog sled on celling! Good experience. Enjoyed the walk on the river and all the flowers. I will go back!
Gorgeous river view location, a stunning flowers, and amazing food. The steamer clams and reindeer appetizer was one of the best we have ever had. The entre’ servings are very generous and desserts are unbelievable. Great place for seafood. Reservations are important.
Vegetarian options severely limited and the one on offer was quite bland and uninspiring.
While the food was pricey, the quality was better than any meal we had while visiting Fairbanks. We had a great server who was enthusiastic and fun. Sorry I canât remember her name but she said she was originally from Texas. This was the best meal we had all week.
We went to the bar and the place was packed. waited a few minutes for a table to open up. we have a few drinks and food. the wife had the seafood chowder and lagoon. the chowder is to die for!!! I had the reindeer medallions and they were so tender and TASTY!!!! The place had a good feel and vibe to it. Its a little pricy on the drinks side but it was good and our service was EXCELLENT.
Service was awesome, food amazing, great atmosphere...enjoyed every second. So glad we chose The Pump House for our anniversary dinner!!
While the food was good and filling, I'd have to say it was overall average. We enjoyed it and had a good time, it just wasn't over the top. It's a smidge pricey, but the ambience is very good which is why I bumped up the rating a bit. The location on the river and view along with the well kept grounds make it a good place to come and visit. It's not downtown so you need a car or get an Uber/Taxi etc if you don't have one.
Excellent selection of main courses, appetizers, desserts, and beverages. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The ambiance of this restaurant really gives you a genuine Old Alaskan Experience with the many artifacts and decoration throughout the restaurant. We had reservations for 7:30 pm but the staff was able to get us seated at 7:00 pm. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for an excellent meal with genuine Alaskan Atmosphere while you dine.
The Pump House was such a treat. We were so happy to find this excellent place to eat! The place is very nice inside and my blackened halibut was the best!
