Abysmal. Waited for 25 minutes at our table, no waitress came. We let one know we’d been waiting, they said someone would be over, no one came for another 25 minutes. Went up to the bar, waited in line for 10 minutes to order before learning they were out of all wine except for one that was $23/glass and no oven foods–pretzels, pizzas, etc.Apathetic staff, terrible service, don’t waste your time at FAI–eat before you come. 0/5 stars if possible.
I got to the airport at 1030 for a glass of wine before my flight. The bar normally closes at 12 but tonight the bartender refused to serve me. Closing early. Must be nice to just make up your own hours.
Burgers and chicken sandwich were very good, better than most airport food, good selection of drinks, and excellent service considering there was only one server covering about 20 tables!

The Local closed earlier than their promoted hours of business. Staff were rude when addressing closing. Literally the only eatery in the airport and they can’t even meet their proposed hours of business. Trash airport.
Friendly service and a decent appetizer (dirty chips).
Go anywhere but here. They will charge you for a double for any drink without asking and the drink is never strong. MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY WHAT YOU WANT OR YOU WILL BE SCREWED. Bad policy, scamming bartenders etc.
It was busy so I’m try to not be to judgemental. Took 30 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. people who arrived after me were getting menus and placing orders before I was even acknowledged. Had to go up to the bar to get a menu. People were waiting at bar with menus to order food. Yes they had a waitress. Seemed to be a 3 person staff for maybe 20 tables. 1 cook, 1 bartender, 1 waitress. Food was average. Not bad, but also nothing to rave about. Ordered a side tots and a bottled beer. Was $13.68 Tots were on the menu for $4.99, so beer must have been at least $8. Wish I would have known this beforehand. Waitress and bartender were nice, didn’t seem to stressed despite it being busy. If it’s busy wait till anchorage to get food. If it’s slow check it out, but maybe ask for a beer/wine menu when ordering drinks.
Traveling Sunday after NYE...not a soul in sight to get a drink or food from... Must be too difficult to keep people employed here...kind of unbelievable that an "international" airport has zero services available. Starbucks closed at 1pm... I'll eat and have a drink at a bar somewhere else, apparently these owners don't like to be open and make money. Definitely don't bring your money to have a drink at the airport. Go literally anywhere else. Crickets...
