Absolutely delicious!! I tried the corned beef hash and it was nice and meaty, good serving size, and not too salty at all! We also ordered the biscuits which were sky-high and yummy, as well as the reindeer sausage special! The sausage was amazing! Overall 10/10!
This was an excellent breakfast. After leaving we wished we had bought several of their cinnamon rolls to take with us for the next few mornings. Food was excellent. Service quick. and Friendly staff. Not to be missed if you are in Fairbanks.
Great service and food. Always packed with locals who know this so prepare to wait although we didn’t (party of two) as we walked in two straight days
My wife and I own a travel agency in central Indiana (Cruise Planners - SmartTravel.Agency) and we ate at The Cookie Jar Restaurant during a business trip. We visited many restaurants, hotels, and adventure vendors from Anchorage to Fairbanks. We had an amazingly good breakfast at The Cookie Jar! We highly recommend this place and we will definitely bring our future travel groups here!
Decided to try this out for lunch before catching a flight. Staff were friendly, the food delicious and we brought some cookies home with us.
Can’t give 4.5 or I would have. The food and service were very good. My wife got the stuffed Nolan. It looked and tasted great. I got the Hungry Joe with waffle, and sausage. All cooked perfect. I’m picky about sausage, and this was good. A little pricy for breakfast, but hey it’s Alaska, and we’re in vacation, so we expected it.
This place is unique. They appear to be a bakery but they are a full service restaurant with a menu full of variety. they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, but they were always the busiest at breakfast. we ate here several times because it was so much better than any of the other places that we tried during our week here. They offer steaks, seafood, chicken, pasta, pot roast, meatloaf and a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, pizza and more. They do have awesome deserts too. their service was good although usually slow at breakfast due to the huge crowd. Everything was very clean and the prices were reasonable for Alaska. You have to get one of their big cinnamon rolls. It's plenty for 2 people.
Go ahead…go for it! The Stuffed Nolan was AWESSOME. The cream cheese was melted perfectly! Berry compote was great! Sherry, our waitress, took time to help us make our selections and she was super helpful!
Cookie Jar has been our “go to” restaurant on multiple trips to Fairbanks. Excellent food. Reasonable prices. Laid back atmosphere. Staff is always friendly and efficient.
We stayed in Fairbanks 4 nights and chose to dine here on 2 occasions. Both time the food was excellent and homemade with very generous portions. I wish we had a Cookie Jar in BA
