Stopped in here on a lark...wasn't expecting it to be good at all. Japanese food in Fairbanks? No way. Well, we were pleasantly surprised by how great the food was! A lot of these type of places rely heavily on the presentation to mask bad food. Not these guys! Food tasted great. Had to be high quality ingredients.One of us had a birthday, and they really celebrated it with us! They were very lively about it, and it helped make the evening great!Thanks guys...will return when I'm in Fairbanks again
This is an excellent hibachi grill in Fairbanks that has a wide variety of food and spirits. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a place like this, up to and including the onion volcano and throwing fried shrimp in patrons mouths. It's a great time for friends and family and I highly recommend it!

Staff and food are amazing as usual. They actually make you feel rushed by giving you the bill early to pay but you don't have to rush. It's just their way of business. The chefs are also so funny! Great place to treat someone to their birthday because they do a whole birthday number.

This is where my girlfriend and I went to go eat on our lady day in fairbanks, because we were looking for a good steakhouse to enjoy at. While driving around looking for a good steakhouse, this place was on my last resor,, which I am glad we came to this place. I've never ate at benihana before but this is close enough for my girlfriend and me. Both had our steak and also seafood too I had salmon and she had shrimp luckly the chef brought a little too much shrimp she we shared with another couple that were locals. It was a amazing experience for the both of us the next time we visit fairbanks we'll keep on eating there if possible
We had a great dinner and enjoyed the show while the food was being cooked. The atmosphere is really fun especially when you have friends with you. We had the chicken hibachi combo and it was delicious. There was enough food for 2 meals in one order so had great leftovers the next day!
Very good food and affordable prices! The hibachi shrimp was excellent as was the hibachi steak! Chef was great at both cooking and entertaining myself and my wife! Service was great and staff was very friendly and professional! We will be returning!
My group and me had Christmas eve dinner at Shogun, and it was a great experience! The restaurant was decorated for Christmas, and the service workers were cheerful.Service was immediate and our setting was clean. The hibachi experience was fun and fiery! The food was delicious.Overall, great experience!
My friend and I are medical traveler and Alaska in general has shown us nothing but LOVE! Shogun has just put the icing on the cake. We had a blast, the food was amazing and we enjoyed the people too!Thank you so much!
