I wanted to love it here.. I really did. My husband and I ordered the roast beef dip and bacon cheeseburger, with corn fritters. I had ordered the prime rib cheddar, but they didn’t have and my husband ordered fish and chips.. they had neither. His burger was fine, mine dry and meh.. fries and onions rings .. GREASY, no seasoning, and no salt or pepper at the table. The bartender very nice and decent drinks.. but, here is thing , 75 dollars and tip.. not great. The server was sweet, but . maybe they should say what they did not have, when a patron orders. Not her fault, but she is the one representing the place of business.I know it’s a bar, I know it’s Fairbanks..We can do better, I want a nice evening off, that I can watch a game, listen to music, relax and enjoy a night out. This place is not unique , it seems the excuse of being in Fairbanks gives a reason to replace good service and great food…
Rember the kid that tried so hard to be cool in school that's what the roundup is I mean the food and service is very good it's just not the popular kid in school
I ordered Nachos, which on the menu states verbatim "choose steak or chicken, layered Nachos topped with beans, cheese tomatoes onions olives sour cream and guacamole" 16 bucks and this is what I received. Some dry chips and unseasoned ground beef. When I called back the completely unhelpful Mitchell said that is what I asked for. I said Nachos. I never said I wanted just chips and dry ground beef. Jr said he voided it but I still have yet to see the money go back onto my card. Completely ridiculous.
Great service yet mediocre food. The steak bites appetizer was way over priced for what we received. Not very good either. They were out of prime rib, onions for the onion blossom and other things. Went with the Monte Cristo and Mushroom burger. The Monte was lunch meat on french toast and the burger had half a red onion on it. (Could have used all that onion for the blossom!) Curly fries were decent. Our server was super nice and fun. Perhaps caught them on an off day, it was mid week before the holidays. Will say it is tacky for a restaurant to proclaim political preference, as there was an ant-Biden flyer by the door. Willing to give it another try on another day when they have the Prime Rib available
I know that the server tried, but she didn't write anything down and continuously forgot things. Even forgot to put my kids food in there and it was a simple grilled cheese and burger. She spilled salt all in the margarita but let us have free jello shots for all the trouble. I think it's more of a bar type place and not a dinner place. I don't think I'll be back to eat but the place was cute and clean.
Excellent service. The food was fresh and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Prices are reasonable. They have pool tables upstairs Try the cheesecake, you won't regret it.
Food is good drinks are good and they do karaoke or Latin dance night. It's a fun place to chill and vibe. They have chairs and comfortable booths to sit in so you can sit back and relax. It's a good time.
We love this place the food is always good and the food always is hot the waitresses here are awesome the owner of this place is one of the nicest people you will ever meet we highly recommend this place and we definitely will continue to keep coming back ???
The menu was tempting but availabilities were slim. I ordered the shrimp basket and got rotten shrimp! I couldn't believe it was even cooked to begin with! Omg the smell! ?? The fry cook even walked around the area we sat at as if to see if we knew the fish was spoiled! Omg I wouldn't be right if I thumbs up the food! However the atmosphere was ok. Zero to the cook!
Love the queso dip! Great French dip, great fries. We especially enjoyed the friendly staff and the tribute to the Afghanistan fallen 13. Enjoyed meeting and chatting with the owners. We felt very welcomed as tourists in Fairbanks for a week.
