THE BEST blueberry scone and raspberry scone I have ever had, nothing close to dry tasting at all. I also bought the gluten free raspberry almond bar which was super delicious. I usually don’t try new things for baked good at other places but River City and now my go to for the best baked goods in town.
I got a hot chocolate and a bagel and I asked if the hot chocolate was good and was told yes.. but it was so disgusting and watery and not sugary at all or chocolaty for the matter… the bagel was given to me like it was in the toaster for 30 seconds max. Never going there again thought it would be a good place at first ..
Nice little coffee shop/cafe. It's a good place to get something warm on those cold Fairbanks mornings. Staff was friendly and prices are pretty standard for the area.
Tuna melt was tasty. London fog was a little weak. No wifi available.
This place was really. Good service. Good hot chocolate and coffee. Really nice lady working there. Would recommend this place

I'm a coffee snob and usually stick to a place that serves a good cup of JOE..Having traveled allover the world and Tasted/Roasted my own coffee - this review is from experience. The coffee served in River City is Robust and satisfying to my pallet. Enjoy.
It’s was not my favorite in Fairbanks. Staff was not rude but not that genuine Alaska friendly I had experienced the last few weeks visiting. I asked very politely for my bacon extra crispy that def didn’t happen and I was the only customer . The grill cheese wasn’t very good !!! A little disappointed . I’d recommend The Cookie Jar and Saltys for breakfast .
