We were staying in the hotel and heard good things. We were one of the first people seated for dinner and then watched several tables seated later than us get served drinks and food before our order was even taken. The menu looked promising but was a let down for the prices, which were high for Alaska). It wasn't bad, just not what we were led to expect.

On a positive, there were some really nice and hard working staff. It’s one of the few places open on a Sunday evening and it’s busy ! The food was also pretty tasty but not hot - more below. If you are going to have an open kitchen, you really need to double down on your game. Getting the food served looked chaotic. Dishes lay under the hot lamps and were pushed around rather than being served up. As a result our meal wasn’t hot when it was served up. An order slip was also tossed on a meal under the hot lights - that’s not hygienic. Wiping down the food tray under the hot lamp when there is butter etc underneath to be dished up, just isn’t right either. It’s really sloppy practice and not good for those with dietary requirements. It’s a very busy spot. It feels like it is creaking and needs to be better run when busy. It really sloppy at the moment. Not a great experience

Food, drinks and service were both excellent. Best part was we didn't have to drive because we were staying at the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott which was so convenient after getting back late from our very long day of sight seeing.

Make a reservation. Good food and bar. Bar tender Robin was excellent! Food was great even though we had to eat at the bar.

Meatloaf was very dry, price of 2 crab legs was way to much. heard this used to be a really good place to eat back in the day. Brother used to eat here all the time when he lived in fairbanks, went down hill he said. Food i was gonna get they ran out of.

In Fairbanks tonight and decided to try this restaurant for dinner. It was busy! Husband had the meatloaf and I had the pasta special. Both dishes were good. We had crème brûlée for dessert. I can’t think of anything outstanding another dishes, but good. Service was good. A little stuffy in the restaurant itself. Needs more air circulation. Parking is a hassle as the lot is reserved for hotel guests with no provisions for those jutting T the restaurant. Luckily we found street parking not too far away. Pleasant evening.

We were a tourist family of 4, with various diet requirements. Oh what to do about dinner? Fortunately, we tried Lavelle's Bistro and it worked out perfectly. The menu is quite varied, with something(s) for everyone, and in such a convenient location! It worked out so well that we returned 2 evenings later for another dinner. We all ate something different, which again, we could eat.

My wife and I stayed one night at the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Fairbanks. The restaurant was attached to the hotel. It was very convenient after a very long travel day to not have to leave the hotel for dinner. Hotel dining at this level can be sketchy at best but we were pleasantly surprised. Food was very very good as was the service. Menu was fairly varied. I had one of the halibut dishes which was great and my wife had the steak tips pasta which she loved. All in all, a great dinner and we would go back.

The restaurant adjoins the Marriott Springhill Suites. Has a modern décor, and an upbeat staff. Our server, Elizabeth, gave us great trips on the area. And our meals were wonderful. Good portions, great flavors, and priced reasonably for when we received.

Great upscale lounge and restaurant. Decor is up to date and food and service is fantastic. Lauren did a great job looking after us. We had the potato crusted salmon with a side salad and the scallops with spinach and capers. So delicious. Cocktails and beer were very good too. I would recommend sitting on the dining side as the hood vents in the kitchen do not clear out the kitchen smells so we had that smell on our clothes after we left. The open kitchen is alongside the lounge.
