We knew we would be back in town very late so we needed to pick up something for dinner and we did not a way to warm anything up. We decided subs would be good since we could keep them in our little cooler bag. The staff fixed our subs right away so we did not have to wait ( they were a bit crowded at the time). The subs were wonderful! Very tasty.

Great sandwiches. My favorite French dip in Fairbanks and their French Onion soup is wonderful. Best fries with cheese sauce in Fairbanks.

On very short notice, the fine folks at Friar Tucks were able to accommodate 30 hungry Alaska Farm Tour guests when another local establishment (whom I talked to twice and emailed a spreadsheet of an order a week in advance!!!) did not even attempt to try to feed us on the day they said they could. These hard working folks got out drinks and food as fast as they could and we appreciated their efforts! I will be taking my farm tour guests here from now on and have alerted other tour companies about the situation and hope they do too. But let’s talk about the food!! Every single thing on that menu was ordered and every single guest thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Not one complaint! The wings, the fries, the sandwiches, the salads, the soups, all of it was delicious! Thank you for stepping up to the plate (haha) and being there when we needed you Friar Tucks!

Amazing hoagies! Friendly service. Lots of local beer options. Patio seating available.

Always delicious food! And great service. Today our to-go order took a long time, which is understandable because they're so popular so they gave us a thank you certificate which was so nice!!! Thank you, we really appreciate your service and always making our food to perfection!

Simply put: delicious. The service was very on top of things, the beer was cold and good. The food was phenomenal. We went here expecting a typical small-time restaurant, but we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality here.

Decent food when you can get it. Have had to leave twice after being seated and not being able to get the attention of a waiter for 15 minutes. Last time it was ice cream spilled on the asphalt that was occupying his time.

Lovely restaurant in Fairbanks with great food and atmosphere. Their hoagie rolls and home brew tea are the best.Today (Sunday night), I ordered the brew tea as I usually do. When I asked for a refill I was told they ran out. I asked for a lemonade instead and when asked for a refill on that, I was told they were out too. However, I had seen the waitress pouring the lemonade and they had plenty of it in a large jug. I’ve never had an issue with getting my drink refilled before. I’m not sure why she was lying but it was disappointing.Besides that, staff is usually very friendly and helpful.

Friar Tucks has the best French Onion soup in town. And their hoagies options are very good. One secret is that any hoagie can be served on fries without the bread. It adds to the cost, but is different. Add the beer cheese sauce to kick it up a notch. It's not the cheapest in town, but they do what they do well with quality ingredients. Note that if you have picky eaters for kids, the grilled cheese was served in a hoagie roll the last time I was there, so be sure to ask if that's the case if you have a grilled cheese eater.

Oh my goodness.. Why haven't i been here soon? Because you would not know it's a restaurant on a drive-by. Anyways what a great experience we had. Hoagie sandwich was delicious and will fill you up. Oh an Avocado fries if you have never had them before then go get them..
