There are 2 Brewsters in Anchorage. This is a restaurant/pub, more casual. My penne w roast tomatoes was really good. And generous
We waited about 30 minutes for a table on a Tuesday night. Remember it is a college town. Halibut fingers were excellent and probably the best we had the entire two weeks we were in Alaska. Friendly waitress and quick service once we were seated. Food came out almost immediately.
Food was good, portions are substantial BUT the highlight for me is the pepper jelly. If I could have purchased some, I would have for me and all my friends -- its that good. Service was good even though they were short staffed
Shout out to their bartender Heather for making one of the best Old Fashioned in town. If you enjoy a classic whiskey cocktail and simple but good food head over to Brewsters Northgate location. You’ll also love their Alaska Amber diping sauce with your steak and the halibut fish and fries is a classic. But really, if you want a good ol' Old Fashioned whiskey, ask Heather to stir one up for you!
Great little place for food and drinks. If I lived local I would come here often.
I had somewhat low expectations with it being a bar, but Brewster’s went above and beyond. I ordered the salmon burger with a salad and fries, and everything was phenomenal. The lettuce was crisp and fresh, homemade ranch was delicious, the fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the salmon burger was divine. The service was friendly and great too, even at the off-time that I went. Even the pickle that came with my sandwich was crunchy and tasty. This may be a little bar in a small plaza, but don’t be fooled by appearances.
Brewster's for another Win, family visiting from Texas just got off denali train at 8pm went to Brewster with out calling ahead all 8 of us were seated and fed delicious food - they just loved the halibut - Thanks keep up good stuff
Ok so I'll start by saying the drinks were not bad. The place is really dark and very dated. The Good is really way overpriced for what it is. Not even a salad was yo be had for under 17 USD and the patty melt my some and I had was really greasy and did not come on rye as described. It was over 58 USD for two patty melts, a beer and cocktail at lunch. If it had been delicious if have been ok as the staff was attentive but I gotta say. You can touch better in town here.
Such amazing service !! Our Server Russell was amazing along with the fantastic food! Definitely a family restaurant love that Russell made a birthday guys moment special.
Very nice and friendly place. My burger was very good. Wife's meal was very good as well. Service was excellent! Fantastic beer selection! Many on tap including local beers.
