Nothing good about this restaurant , not worth the money. Food is mediocre, service is slow and not attentive. Side dishes are small portions and badly prepared.

By far the best Korean food I've tasted. Good service and ambience. Lots of side dishes on one entree. Would definitely go again?

Great Korean food and plenty of tasty side dishes. Friendly staff. I left very happy. Highly recommend!

The food is ok I would rather go to Korean Garden instead, but they got the spicy pork feet which is pretty good for midnight snack.

What a waste of our money and time. The food was horrible. Kimchi soup had a disturbing flavor. There was very little pork. When I complained the cook came out and told me that she put four pieces of pork in each dish. She quickly grabbed my spoon and located one small morsel in my bowl to demonstrate. The mandu were served barely warm. The Haemul Pajeon had maybe four shrimp distributed throughout the entire pancake. The server became visibly annoyed with our inquiries. Never again. This is not authentic and a waste of time!

We saw the “new owner” announcement and cautiously decided to give our former favorite Korean restaurant a shot.We ordered our usual favorites to go:Fried dumplings, bulgogi and beef fried rice. The beef fried rice was a disaster. The rice was overcooked and mushy, with only a few burned rice pieces hinting at an attempt of frying it. The beef pieces were sparse and smaller than a dime. This is a drastic decrease in quality compared to the last owner, whose beef fried rice had a good serving of beef. You may wonder why the first item I am reviewing is something something as basic as the beef fried rice? Simple: If a basic dish can’t be served properly, I have little hope for the more complex dishes. This proved to be true, sadly. The Bulgogi was overcooked. It was packaged poorly so that it spilled its sauces all over the take away bag. The taste was passable. The Banchan (side dishes) were all lumped together. Gone are the days of lovingly individually wrapped servings of Banchan, preventing the sauces and flavors from mixing before being consumed. The quality of the Banchan took a dive as well. Other than having a slight flavor deviation from the previous owners, the vegetables were sliced much wider and the vegetables were overcooked. Gone is the pleasant crunchiness and strong flavor in every bite (because smaller slices = bigger surface area). The vegetables are soggy and sad. The only plus is that there was more variety in the provided Banchan, but since I care more about the taste and overall quality of food, this was not comforting. The fried dumplings were passable. We are sad to say that we will not be returning. We can only recommend that the new owners adapt their processes and recipes more to the previous owners’ or they may lose other regulars. We wish them and the previous owners the best.

Pretty good dolsot bibimbab and spicy pork bulgogi but it's definitely white-people-spicy not Korean-people-spicy. Still tasty though with a respectable banchan spread. A bit overpriced but the taste was spot on so no complaints. Will be back.

9/26/2021Recently found out the Korean restaurant we have enjoyed has changed owners. Understanding its hard to start out we were a little disappointed when ordering the seafood soup there was no seafood in it. When I questioned where was the seafood they explained that it was chopped up fine and we could not see it. I pretended to understand but realized I was lied to. I will not order the seafood soup again if we ever return. We looking for another Korean restaurant in Anchorage.

Food was great and delicious when the old cooks or owners were there, the new cooks and owners of this place have there own way of cooking there dish and it’s okay. I just prefer the original ???

Aren't we glad finding this place! While maybe not at the level of a top restaurant at say, Fort Lee, NJ, it coul definitely hold its own in much bigger cities than Anchorage. It's unassuming and tucked away in a less trafficed part of Midtown, but the food we got was rock solid. We had kimchi tofu soup, oyster tofu soup, and chicken bulgogi. It's takeout so my pictures aesthetic don't do the food justice. I'm especially impressed that they didn't skim on the side items (the gem of Korean cuisine) just because it's takeout - so delish!
