They have a test kitchen and production facility that is as big as their year round storefront. A certain sign of their ever growing and wildly loyal customer base.I have never been disappointed by any choice and I am so lured by their use of locally grown products that I find myself actually wanting spruce tips in my ice cream. My previous favorite, before plant based eating, was chocolate and cinnamon and cayenne…incredible if they are offering it and you can handle a bit of fire to tame your sweet tooth craving. Now I am faithful to their vegan menu…which changes and is varied and leaves nobody feeling denied their guilty pleasure. They have a take home case filled with a variety of treats to bring back to share, or horde, no judgment!Visit them downtown in the summer months and in midtown throughout the year. Well worth the trip and any lines!

Delicious ice cream in all sorts of fun flavors. We went every night we were in town once we found this place. Multiple vegan options. I'm not vegan and really enjoyed one of them because I wanted to try the flavor. I would have never known it was vegan ice cream.

Honestly, this place is one of the reasons I love it up here, haha!Seriously, the ice cream here is amazing, and they're always rotating out new fun, interesting, and delicious flavors. It's almost a little game trying to figure two combinations that pair perfectly together!Right now, for me that's, "Sitka Swirl" and "Xtra Toff" but next week who knows? Your guess is as good as mine!

We loved this ice cream! We went basically everyday we were in Anchorage and even at the gift shop at Alyeska. It’s a must!!

I got ice cream here almost every day of my trip because it was so good. They use local ingredients and have fun local flavors. They also have a lot of fun options such as a torched marshmallow topping!

Unique flavors with fresh and delicious ingredients, they stand far above ice cream shops in AK and all over the lower 48. I had to stop sampling ice cream flavors because I couldn’t pick. And the baked Alaska topping option made for a beautiful presentation adding even more to the experience.

Long line, but that just means it’s good. Not super sweet, and not super rich. Loved it!

Wild Scoops could not be any friendlier! Yes, you will have to wait outside on a long line for a while, but when you get to the front you are greeted by smiling faces and enthusiastic ice cream scoopers ready to let you try any and every flavor you like and will offer you great descriptions of what the ingredients are, too! Speaking of flavors we ordered the Oreo and black coffee in a baked Alaska (which was a dark coffee base ice cream with chunks of Oreo in a waffle cone with meringue on top~ it was amazing!), Wild blueberry (fresh taste with blue berries from Alaska), Rhubarb crumble (which they describe as: Cinnamon-nutmeg base + AK rhubarb jam + oaty streusel), Fireweed and Honey (which honestly, I cannot describe properly, but it is almost a strawberry but not a strawberry like flavor- but you MUST try for yourself!) and Kincaid coconut (which was on the sweeter side. They describe it as: Creamy chocolate coconut). We loved each and every flavor we tried and they have such cool flavors, too! Every flavor was unique, interesting, and tasty! Although the line might get long, when in Anchorage, you have to go! Worth the time and worth the calories! We would definitely go back!!!

It's never too cold for ice cream. Especially this ice cream. The flavors are amazing, serving sizes are great, and get the waffle cone with toasted marshmallow fluff on top. You won't regret it.

Roasted beet ice cream among other amazing local flavors. This place is a must stop after all the good food in Anchorage.
