Best elkburger in the in the state fresh homemade buns are the perfect combination with the fresh hand cut Fries what more could I ask for great food
Wee B's has old school charm. The food was made fresh and was worth the wait. Fries were homemade and delicious. Prices were favorable as well. Will definitely make this a return visit.
Great place! Top notch service, and quality food! Would recommend to anyone.
My husband loves the fact that their buns are made fresh everyday -- soft! The french fries are homemade and tasty. I had the fish and chips and the fish was tender and moist with an excellent crunch. Bonus: Ms Pac-Man and Galaga machines! ?My only real complaint is the fact that tartar sauce is not included with the fish and chips. You have to pay extra to get it.
We were the third card in the drive-through and waited more than 30 minutes for four milkshakes and one burger. I had forgotten that this same thing happened the last time I used the drive-through, and that time I vowed I wouldn't return. This time I mean it. I don't expect Wee B's to operate as quickly as a fast food restaurant, and I recognize that they may have a staff shortage like many other businesses, but you shouldn't have a drive-through if you can't operate it in a timely manner. At the very least, post a sign at the beginning of the drive-through letting people know about the incredibly long wait times and encourage them to go inside. We would have left without our food, but we had cars both in front and behind us so were boxed in with no available escape route.
I went through the dive-through yesterday and ordered a rotisserie chicken sandwich and a soda. I waited about 35 min with 2 cars in front of me--something I would't expect in a drive-through, especially around 2pm on a Monday. The person helping me was polite, but curt. An acknowledgement of the wait time would have been nice. Even better, a warning about the potential wait when ordering, as it's been many years since my last visit and I didn't know what to expect. Sometimes I am willing to wait for great food, and other times it's not possible. If I had known the wait was going to be that substantial, I would have made a different choice yesterday and saved everyone time.My sandwich was tasty, although the chicken was dry. Not entirely worth the wait. I'll limit coming here to the occasions I have extra time and I'll order something besides chicken.
Phenomenal burgers. This was the 2nd time I have been here. The burger is made to order, so expect to wait. The fries are not greasy nor overly salted. Kids meal is under $6. I hadn't tried anything but a cheese burger and fries, so I cannot comment on that food. Place has a lot of guests, so you know it's good food.
I stopped here on a whim and was looking for a good burger. I have to say this place highly exceeded my expectations on a good burger and for a fair price. If you do come here, expect a bit of a wait time. It did take about 12 minutes to get my order when going through the drive-thru and I was the first one there. But the burger was delicious and absolutely would come here again. So it was worth the wait in this case. There's another review comparing the burgers to Tommy's Burger Stop. I have tried both, Wee B's did it better and at a far better price.
if I wait in a drive thru for 30 minutes I atleast expect hot fries vertical disappointed
I've been waiting to go to Wee B's for a whole year now! Last time I visited Anchorage my sister wouldn't take me so I made sure it was on the itinerary this time visiting. I'd say the food was 4 stars. The wait time 2 stars and the experience 5 stars. Don't mind the puke outside. That wasn't from us.
