I saw them at the airshow and my friend said they have the best waffle. I ordered keto waffles with cookie butter with bananas. And omgawd they are delicious! Including the breaded strips! Would definitely get there food for lunch!
The chicken is amazing! Juicy and delicious chicken!! The house hot sauce was the perfect amount of spice and they make it in house! Fruit is fresh. Waffles are fluffy on the inside and a perfect crunch on the outside. Mac and cheese has so much garlic I am in love!! Their whipped cream is thick is sweet and perfect. Overall, the best experience even with them being busy. Love the picnic tables too, clean and very welcoming!!
In town for a race and decided to take over this restaurant! It was an amazing experience, I was nervous at first when they said first timers don’t order they chose your meal but they didn’t disappoint! Soo worth it ! Great service and atmosphere!

Best breakfast! As first timers, they selected our meal and we each loved their picks. The chicken, the Mac and cheese, the waffles, the sauces. Just all incredible. We met the owner (read his story) and how he infuses the nutrients into the food. We left stuffed, informed and happy. I loved the inspirational quotes as well. Please expand to GA!!
10/10 will be visiting again. This place is outstanding! Derrick absolutely took us to flavor town! Also the wonderful chef, I don’t know her name, but she made me the herbivore scramble and the checkerboard waffle with blueberries, she is amazing. They make a surprise for your first visit and if you don’t like it after two bites, you don’t have to pay for it! I definitely took more than two bites.BLACK LIVES MATTER!!!
We just moved to Anchorage recently and heard that Diners, Drive Ins and Dives had done an Anchorage episode, so naturally I had to buy the episode to watch. The food at Waffles and Whatnot looked AMAZING on the show at 10pm the night we watched it, even my boyfriend who I have NEVER watched eat a pancake or a waffle, since he doesn't do "sweet" at breakfast said it looked good. I Googled it and it was .5 miles from our apartment, so we decided to go this morning. OH. MY. GOD. First of all, I'm that person that STUDIES a menu before I go so I know what I'm going to order. We got up to the counter and was asked if it was our first time in, we said yes and she said the menu didn't matter then. When it's your first time, they order for you and if you love your food, you'll go up front to pay and if not, you don't. This made me SO nervous. 1. My boyfriend and his "no sweets at breakfast" thing. I was really nervous he was going to end up with a MOUND of waffles and whipped cream and 2. What if I hated what I ended up with. Our order was called and WOW. We ended up with a "Confused Cousin" and I wish I could remember the name of the other but basically waffles with the chefs choice of toppings. Neither of us were disappointed at all! Both things were to die for! I will definitely be taking all of my friends and family here when they come to visit! :)
Food's always good. Edit: Came again recently (just today) and tried something new! It was absolutely delicious and also, my heart was a lil heavy for the workers in the kitchen. Glad to see the business flourishing right now and wish for everyone to stay kind to the employees doing their best. They're making great food back there!
Delicious! We had the Mindy (3 waffles) and the Baby Daddy (Chicken & Cheese waffle) then kids waffle that they loaded with fruit (blueberries, bananas, & strawberries) whipped cream and syrup (also came with bacon)- my son LOVED it!Everything was made fresh, tasted great and they are such nice people!My son loved the chalkboard to color on and books to look at while we waited for food.We'll be back! ??
Such a fun experience! I loved their rule of picking for first timers. They asked a series of questions & came out with a surprise that was absolutely delightful! We both loved our meals. It's my new favorite spot & encourage everyone to go! Thank you ladies for amazing meals & experience!
