I first discovered this amazing restaurant several years ago as a college student. I was writing a nutrition related paper on international cuisine and the gentleman at the time was kind enough to allow me to ask a variety of questions about the foods, preparation and even decor. The food here is amazing with fresh, colorful vegetables and delicious curry dishes. Hands down one of my all time favorite places for Thai.
Still our favorite Thai restaurant, although it’s been solely take-away since the pandemic. Our favorite dish is the Tom Kha Shrimp soup. Tastes freshly made, and great particularly in winter. They’re generous with the rice, but last time I checked they don’t make brown rice.
One of the best thai restaurants in Anchorage with very quick food service, wide menu selections, and overall tasty entrees.
We eat here all the time. I can’t believe I’ve never left a review before. Authentic and delicious! Know what you want and order ahead (as they are purely take-out only through the pandemic) tonight there is 1 hour and 45 minute wait. And we will gladly wait.
The food is incredibly flavorful and there is a wide variety of choices on the menu. Definitely my favorite local restaurant.

So I went ahead and branched out to try a new thai restaurant this week and I have to say this place came up short...They didn't have real crab meat for a fried rice dish I looked foward too??? Also the shrimp toast was pre-made and made it's way into the trash/dumpster, the salad that came with it made it's way straight to the trash as well..I tried again and got the Pad-thai which was low quality...No good???? shrimp didn't taste fresh?? Spring rolls were probably pre-made days in advanced, and weren't quality...I'm glad I branched out but this Thai restaurant isn't for me..Pho-lena, Thai Delight, seems to be the authentic Thai restaurants for now..Plus the costumer service isn't very good at Thai Orchid either???"Suspect" So if that wasn't the Thai Shrimp toast you served me than what was it? Lol? It was lil pieces of toast with shrimp on it and I got it a couple days ago? Why would I lie??Lol..?
Doing only take away. We ordered 4 dishes, all were very good. My kids said the other Thai places in town are not as good as this one. We esp liked the handmade rice noodles. Dishes were flavourful and not overloaded with salt. For sure will go back.

Their setup for taking phone orders is painful. They need to upgrade their system. Multi phone line or allow people to at least order online.Food is good if you can ever get past the busy line.
