The best taco king and also the best and most authentic taqueria in Alaska. The fish tacos are incredible and oh so addicting!!
A decent, reasonably priced Mexican restaurant. I think they have 4 locations in Anchorage. The asada and chili verde are particularly good.
Great Mexican food. My gringo tacos were excellent. You have to order at the counter. And pay for it. Then it is delivered to your table. Reasonably priced.
We were unsure of TK when it was suggested, but we very pleasantly surprised. TK has an extensive menu of items from soups to salads to full mexican meals. Our party of 15 was served efficiently and the food was great. The staff were pleasant and efficient. Could now have asked for more from a "fast food" kind of place.
My first time eating here. I tried the gordita for the first time at this restaurant and it was Guuuuud (good). My friend made me gordita before but it didn’t taste like this at all. Taco kings’s gordita was crispy, tasty and not too thick. The meat was seasoned and spicy. I will eat there again.
I would like start off with I've never had a problem at any location until today. I stopped by the Northern Lights location around 6:40 PM and walked into a empty restaurant and no staff behind the counter. I went on to the restroom to wash my hands and when I walked out I used a few napkins from the table because the paper towel dispenser in the men's restroom was empty. The two men behind the counter were staring at me intensely and with that look I decided to leave because it was not very welcoming. They informed me that I need to ask to use the restroom. I said I was going to order but with the look and no formal greeting I decided to go. Then the insults began from the younger man with glasses going far enough to say to get out and I need to watch my mouth. He was about to come around the counter and I said kindly please don't go there. I drove to the Huffman location to eat because they are wonderful people :) We all have bad days but you cannot berate your customers. Im currently writing this review from the Huffman location and have left my name and number with them so perhaps management will reach out and help this young man with customer service. There is always hope :)
The Mexican food here is amazing and authentic. Enjoy and look forward to going to this place every time traveling to Anchorage or fairbanks. However, this was the first time the smell of Marijuana superceded the smell of Mexican food.))
Love taco king great food almost super awesome. Maybe if you could lay down a bit more beans and rice. Then you be bigger then King. Master of Tex Mex yes Master . Well think about it and you decide. Thanks for great service and most excellent food yes sir excellent. Stay hungry my friends see you next year. Next week I'll be in Texas, I hear everything is bigger in Texas will see.
Taco King food was great.. Phoned in my order and was ready when I arrived... Today is Cinco De Mayo and they were really busy... They ran out of Pico de Gallo or was really limited... only gave 2 cups.. should have been better prepared for the busy day... Anyways the food is Great and Fast... thanks
