Dirty bread plates on the table. Wine served in dirty glasses. Almost given a dirty steak knife (server was handing it to us, but then saw it was dirty). Server forgot a few items we requested, such as butter for the bread. Some of the food delivered cold, especially the sides (vegetables and baby potatoes). Filet Mignon was very good. Shrimp slightly undercooked and a bit off in flavor for my taste. They were out of scallops. Peach aspberry cobbler was good. The server was very friendly and helpful, but a bit pushy on the wine, trying to get us to buy more.

Oysters and salads were very good. The calamari, schnitzel, pasta, shrimp /scallops where under seasoned. We all had to add salt to our meals. Nice wine list.
Birthday dinner for both my wife and I so I wanted something special. Southside Bistro really delivered! I had an outstanding New York strip that was cooked perfectly with a side of al dente veggies and crispy potatoes, with an appetizer of the butter leaf lettuce salad. Absolutely loved it all, oohing and ahhing over every bite. My wife had a pasta special with meatballs. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the flavors were amazing. She had a special salad as an appetizer, different types of beets in a yogurt dressing and she loved it. Absolutely the best meal I've had years, maybe ever!
Friendâs birthday and food and service were wonderful. I was immediately and lavishly greeted by Amanda - after being escorted to our table Linda ministered to our every wish. A lovely evening was had by all!
